It's just that feeling I'm improving quite a bit yet having no one notice or care makes me sad. Yeah, maybe it's a bit inmature thinking like that, but what can one do.

Well, there's you, Borock, Wily and that's pretty much it. Well, there's this other guy on DA too that posts on almost everything I do but (no offense to him) the genericness of the responses don't really do much for me .__.

Speaking of DA, you pretty much just posted once or twice there and then never said anything to me ever again >.>

I admit that I took the "hair always points to x direction" from a comic I read. I found it amusing and it just felt right >.> When I originally designed the character, the gloves had a sun and a moon, while the pants had stars and the jacket a combination of the 3, but I pretty much stopped drawing that =/

Vanilla ice cream looks very yellow to me. Granted it's a whiter yellow but I was just reusing the button's color anyways.

This is supposed to be like the page of a photo album. In the first pic it's kid Sam catching a disc again. In the other one he's at the beach swimming with Max when a small accident happens :laughing: Originally Max was stealing the swimsuit but I couldn't get it to look right, an alternate idea was that same thing with the two of them running along the shore instead of swimming but I couldn't get that to look right either.

Yes, I know the red slide sucks, and still looking for opinions/criticism on the other pic, mostly about shading.

Ok where to start...

I like the last two pictures, cute little Sam. I also understand the difficulty of translating idea into paper. (did I ever typed this before?)

for the shading...

I really like the shading on the hat, a bit of higjlight will make it perfect.
and You should try giving a darker shading for the white shirt and brown skin (or give second shade darker shading).

Shading position is quite good, you just missed some shading on the ear and the jacket.

All in all you're improving.

For some reason when I scanned it the left part got much darker, so I cleaned it up a bit with GIMP, that's why some lines got kinda erased. If Max not standing straight looks weird to you it is because when I drew it he was standing straight >.>

Yep, game SO needs a remake/re-release so that I can actually own it, but since it belongs to Lucasarts and they don't have the Sam and Max license anymore (thankfully though) I don't really see it happening =(

There's a Halloween contest over at Telltale Games, so I started drawing something for it. There is absolutely no chance at all for me to win anything with my talent alone, no matter what you think of me that is a fact, so I tried something that would hopefully get me some points with the judges besides the art. Opinions would be welcomed, it doesn't matter if you know the characters or not.
