Hai! Some of you might remember that in one discussion topic about comics, I was raging at Archie Sonic Comic because it sucked...

NO MORE! I officially love this comic book right now. And I remember that there were people here who bought the comic on regular basis once upon a time, but stopped because the comic got shitty. Well, guys. The comic is good again so I suggest you start buying it again... OR, download it at least.
Seriously.
Ever since they fired those [Top Spin]s who were the cause of the series becoming shitty, and hired new writer and main artist, this comic really became a fun read.

They constantly make fun of themselves, characters like for example Shadow. HECK! Even characters from games became much better, for example Silver who was recently introduced.

If you're interested, it's from mini-series that just started called Sonic Universe, issue 1.

And yeah, I burst out laughing at the second page. And I still lose it. That expression is just priceless.

It's Shadow's "I don't have time for your bull-[parasitic bomb]" face.

In a totally unrelated topic, Bull-[parasitic bomb] doesn't get censored without the hypthen there.

That is until the mods take notice and censor it.

You of course do realize that you can turn off the censorship, right?

And I think it was more of a "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF" face. Or maybe "I'M SPEECHLESS" face. Either way, it's awesome.

I remember seeing this in someone else's sig twenty fourms away. Basically, these "What If" scenarios look rather funny, now let's see Shadow going WTF over a geinie that Sonic has dealt with awhile back.

The book has improved by leaps and bounds since Ian Flynn took over with #160. I can hardly for the 200th issue extravaganza.

I'll be buying Sonic Universe tomorrow or so. I've still got a buttload of the old comics and the most recent I bought was.. Um.. #100 I believe, just because. I have heard great things about Ian Flynn and I would love to get back into these books so lets hope for the best.

The newest issue of Sonic Universe (#40) was simply amazing. Especially that ending.
Ian really IS a genius. He has his ups and down but the recent happenings in the comic are simply brilliant.

I happen to be a fan of the comics. I have read up to the parts when The Freedom Fighters lost...to Dr. Robotnik. That is when I stopped. The good guys got screwed over.

I always thought the Metal versions of the Sonic characters looked weird without mouths. $:\$

Me, personally? I'm looking forward to it. It may be what gets me back into this series. I haven't read the comics in ages and I really want to get back into the series, but I just can't forgive Ken Penders for what he did to Knuckles.
