Rockman Series / Re: You might be a Rock Man fan when

- If you were going to point out that for the overwhelming majority of times "Rockman" is written together unlike "Mega Man"... you have to pick up better hobbies, but I guess you could say you're a Rockman/Mega Man fan.

Final battle from RnC, best Wily ever.

I haven't checked the link. Is it from Rockman No Constancy? Because if so, I don't want it spoiled. I really liked this hack, I want to get there by myself.

Some cat had developed an idea called "Rockman Echo" and composed a soundtrack for it (MIDI). Isn't very much inspired though.

Rockman Series / Re: Best of Zero's themes

My choice: Beamsabre Beat ZEROv2 - Darkesword
It's a mix of his theme from X1, the battle against him in X2, and opening stage in X3. Granted, I don't understand what's actually said, but still awesome.
It starts out with that voice sample of Wily saying "Go, Zero! You're the strongest robot!", then courtesy of one or another "Let's go!" every now and then, then it's him (Zero) yelling at Colonel in the Memorial Hall battle... and something else entirely that I'm guessing should be from X4, as well. It's Okiayu alright at any rate, and I'm happy with that.

I use crunchyroll for Casshern. they had the window. Capcom was one of em. :P

Well, they're in six as well.

Beats me to why Shinsen cuts out the sponsor window in some episodes and leaves it in others.

I love how Capcom was one of the grand sponsors for ep 7 of Casshern. It makes me lol.
That was 6, wasn't it? I just watched ep. 7 after I made my post and it didn't even have the sponsor window.

But boy was 7 a spectacular borefest. Christ, stop being so god damn formulaic. Some of the formula worked well ("The World is filled with Cries of Death" and "Angel of Ruin") but this one was downright trite and stupid. Next episode isn't looking so bright either. Meanwhile Braiking is yet to make an appearance ever since episode two.

Y'know, I saw this japanese X/Cinnamon shrine once... since if anything X looks a little taller in CM than in previous games (please don't go on and take what I'm saying for hard solid fact. It's just what it strikes me as), they shrunk him down to her size.

At least the fanartist didn't put anybody else from the CM cast in the pictures, because it'd be so freaking odd.

At most I kept up with one series throughout the entire year, most of the cases being the latest batches of Saint Seiya OVAs. Yes, they were a glorious piece of crap, you gotta try HARD to end so shitty, but I digress.

Once I heard of Casshern Sins, the live action alone would have sold me to see the original concept. Then they said it was to be directed by Shigeasu Yamauchi, who directed the cream of the crop of SS's revival and was then fired by the series' creator in a stupid hissy fit. Then I watched the first episode and the voice actor for Casshern this time around is Tohru Furuya, the one true Pegasus Seiya... and they made Casshern his spitting image (coincidence?). Down to having Kunio Tsujita as the colorist. If you thought Tsujita was SS's colorist too, you're quite right. Add to it that the classic Saint Seiya series had Takao Koyama at the helm for writing and then see that he worked on the first Casshern series and Jesus Fuck, it's all connected, I can see forever. Behold the blanket.

Either way, it's being an interesting ride so far, with some ups and downs alright, but I'd watch this stuff if only to see Furuya doing the spitting image of the character he immortalized (and viceversa). I liked the fact they gave Dio what seems to be his female doppelganger (doppelganger of a doppelganger but with big round breasts and smooth long hair. What's not to love?). When Yamauchi isn't too caught up on his chaotic direction the action scenes are awesome as well.

I could attempt a completely half-assed translation, but I won't do that. Why rob people of their fun? Online translators, AWAY!

I did make out that one time before he says "I don't wanna be" at the chorus he says stuff to the extent of "Please don't let go of my hand".

There's something written in the Special Thanks at least. ^^
Yeah, I knew he was Special Thanks... I should've used "Since" instead of "provided" in my post. Considering English proficiency may or may not land me a gig soon, I ought to keep track of that. >.>

Provided Scenario Writer Yoshinori Kawano is in Mega Man 9's credits (in other words still in favor with Inafune's current team) I think the original team'd be the ones handling a Legends 3 myself.

Since MM9 doesn't even include a scenario writer in the credits, I wouldn't find it odd if he was the one who wrote the story for that game too.

Far as I remember he comes back toting himself as "Return X", which I've seen many times shortened to "RX". Probably because he wants to be as cool as a child of the sun. Give it up, you freakin' pallete swap.

A game with eight bosses where you control pretty unremarkable stupid underage kids who kick the ass of a stupid unremarkable villain with a perchant for "evolution", lots of trite technobabble, and when you finish the game on Hard Mode you get a scene of X waking up on a bed saying "I had the most horrible dream... in the future!" followed by Alia saying "Go back to sleep, honey, it was just a bad dream" and then we're show that the bedroom TV is on and it's displaying a news report that says "Tragic (or not. Really.) News: Maverick Hunter Axl has been run over by a Maverick Laundry Van and has died earlier this morning".

X1's followed by X6's rearrange (fucking appropriate song) and then X3's I guess. I like the beginning of X2's but that is about it.

EDIT: Motherfuckingly stupid bold tag! YARRRR

if he can survive having a space station explode around him, what on earth would be capable of killing him?
If I had to make an educated guess...

EDIT: fix'd.

A note on "Ikusu". They use these very same katakanas to name X's EX Armor and Zero's EX Armor.

So I guess you could chalk it up to him being named "EX" before "Return X" anyway.

(see: his stealth armor)
Sorry, but I can't help myself here.

X's New Armor from Command Mission is called... exactly that. The closest thing to "stealth" and "X" in Command Mission EVER said was Kitabayashi stating in an interview that the intro would show X's stealthy side. Not that his armor was supposed to be stealthy or what fucking ever. Just tell me how an armor that lets out tongues of red flames (it's that color when you're supposed to be seeing his "stealthy side") out of your back that glow in the dark when you run is supposed to be stealthy. It doesn't make sense, no matter what kind of cookie cutter crap people try to feed you.

On-topic: thank you, now all the erratic pieces of life came together and I knew.

Not.

Either way I remember people were saying that in the latter Iwamoto mangas X was a bit of a pervert with Marty. But then again that's from way back when when this lone person maintaning a small MMX shrine had scanned the page where she tails X in the face and said "Look at X's awesome girlfriend from the manga her name is KARIN"... uh. OK. So whatever. I don't know if it's true and couldn't care less.
