Basically this thread is for you to tell the RPM residents about active/cancelled fanprojects of the MM universe. Not everything is as big as New Horizon, but that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable. If you know of any fanmade games/soundtracks (includes remixes)/etc. that aren't well know please post them here so they might get the credit they deserve.

I hope this topic will last long, seeing how the number of projects is limited (and the general interest in these kind of things is almost non-existant).

Let me start with this video. It's from a MMX RPG. What hooked me up on this was the idea of 'Hydra Sigma'. For some reason I really like that.

-----------------

Should you have your own project then you do not need to post here. Members of RPM can make their own topic.

So now I know where this fangame came from, it's a fun game to play, and satisfyingly challenging.

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Rockman 2: Deus Ex Machina.Only for super-masochists, this elaborate hack of MM2 gives us original and well-made stages and variations of the Master Weapons. You thought Airman was bad before? Just look at his DEM stage, and you'll never sleep again.

Videos are on YouTube, but I can't seem to link to them. Arg.

DEM is one of the best MM hacks out there. The fact that there are 5 different versions of it shows that the author put a whole lot of care into the game. And the music is awesome.

EDIT: Found a video on YouTube for a level 1 demo of Megaman Forever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zblr9vHk0x4&feature=related I played it and came away pretty impressed.

Damaged Game's Hard Hat series.

They're seriously just awesome. Why? You play as the god-damn METTOOL! Sadly, the guy isn't going to be working on the 4th one any time soon (and honestly I'm kind of glad, he was going to use the Super Fighter or whatever series of bosses instead of either custom or 8bit bosses)

Rockman Unprecedented. Only 5 stages are done if anyone wants to try it out. Here's a vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTBN8iSvcRk

Where you can get the patch: http://www.geocities.jp/dhiark/re/

The only finished levels are Metal Man, Flash Man, Heat Man, Crash Man, and Air Man. Warning: the game is hard.

Was going to make a new thread about this WIP. but there really isn't much to show yet.
Also, I have NO knowledge of NES rom hacking when it comes to MM games. So it's being developed with MMF2. :P

Vixy, once again, yuo amaze me with your awesomeness.  8) I tried Storm Man's level first. He and his level were hard. I like that the author changed up the robot masters.

Melt Man's stage has death pools and dark rooms, much like Quick Man's stage. Some platforms blend in with the background tiles, so you have to look at their colors closely, which ones you can stand on or not.

I think I started late October.... Early November. Since I just started it, I'm thinking it's going to take me a couple of months for a full game to be made. Hopefully going to add a time attack mode, and more options to make the game have more replay value. A friend of mine had been talking about thoughts for a 2 player mode. :P

Also, here's a quick video of the progress so far.

Nice ideas and that was a good vid. I especially liked the end.  8)

BTW, guys, here's the patch for Rockman 2DX, a Rockman 2 rom hack that hasn't been all that easy to come by. I'd post some screens but I've no cam and I haven't seen a single screen of this game anywhere.
