I got three Copic markers and winced at the price. But I only got them to try them out and see why some people spazz over them. I also brought my cousin some things for her baby shower which I won't be attending since it's in Connecticut. Its cute though. Has ducks. Now, I go back to working on Misae's sprites.

The price is what makes me steer clear of Copic markers.  If I want brush markers, I go with cheaper.  Pigmas and Staedler all the way.

However, if the Copic markers are so utterly awesome that you now know why people go nuts for them and that nothing compares to them, let me know.  I may buy a couple and see for myself.

Anywho, I woke up sick.  Clogged ear, clogged nose, sore throat, sneezing, overall feeling of ugh.  And the clogged nose and sneezing are recent developments.  I'll no doubt be sicker tomorrow.  YAY.

I know, the price is what normally steered me away from them but I thought to give them a shot. I'm more used to stiffer pen tips on my markers rather then the brush tips, besides, on the Blick website I can get the full set of Prismacolor markers for the price on one 72 Copic set. Actually less now that I look at it. Although the markers seem to lay the color down pretty smoothly, I guess I'm just more used to prismas.

I've always heard so many artists say that Copic markers are mostly a marketing scheme by other artists. I'm not an expert and haven't painted a decent thing in my whole life, but they felt like regular markers the one time I used them. Plus, there's more than enough knockoffs around.

I've been suffering from a bad cold for days.  It finally moved from my head, so I can now breathe through my nose and my ears aren't as clogged.  However, it moved into my chest and I've been coughing up ever-increasing amounts of phlegm.  Such fun!

First day of Fall Quarter. Got up before the sun, sat around at the college for a couple hours (because the alternative was getting up after the sun and scrambling for the bus from the word 'go'). Got lost on the way to class. Listened to a lecture, recorded a 2 minute movie (it's video productions, by the way). Hung out with some friends with a long duel (Yu-Gi-Oh) using my Elemental Hero deck. Went home, had dinner, went to the mall to turn in some job applications (Gamestop! YAY!), and finally finished the YouTube Chorus song I started a while ago.

All in all, a rather successful day.

I borrowed my dad's computer a couple nights ago and found that he doesn't have Ad Blocker.  For shame.

Though, up until then, I was never aware of the Poise panty liner ads on this site...

I still cannot find my games, some [parasitic bomb] stole my CDs as they are no longe rin the case. I payed a lot of money for them.

Had a power outage that lasted about two hours. Got outta school 15 minutes early because of it though. Still annoyed with our incompetent hydro for screwing up to begin with. That's the 2nd or 3rd time this past month. After the power came back on things were going about their usual. But then came a notice of a well respected member's death on another site I lurk around. Rather grim day now. I'm filled with a lot of regret for having not gotten to know them more.

On a lighter note, today was the start of the weekly Lumberjack Tuesday. Gonna have to get some plaid first, but this'll be the only school 'activity' I'll ever be taking part in.

Made a phonecall to find that my caseworker is out until Thursday.  Tomorrow, I'll need to make another phonecall to see what time I'm meeting with people from the housing authority and to see if I can get a lift.

Got up at 5am, went to work with the 'rents till 12am, then proceeded to eat out the refrigerator. Boring and busy days seem to be my life's specialties. I haven't been on a date in SO long.

Anyway, brought some more long sleeved shirts that fit since its really freaking cold out now. I also went and searched my brother's house for the bracelet my grandma gave me. Found it thankfully.

It was rainy and chilly outside today, so I wore long sleeved shirts and a jacket.  Then, I went out shopping.  I decided to get a haircut as I was sporting a grown-out coarse mop-top, and the quickest way to tame that is with clippers.  However, I misjudged the 3/4 guard, so now my hair's a quarter inch shorter than I planned to have it cut.  Yes, I have a buzz cut.

But, I'm not angry.  I'm happy with it.  And besides, hair grows back.  My hair grows back really thick and quick, so quite frankly, I'm happy to see the extra hair go.

I did too. It was phenomenal with the story presentation in that scene. I mean, Puppet Zelda was a bit creepy, but aside from that, very well done.

My day today was great! Hung out with some friends and had a very fun time!

Got home and was inspired to make sig images, so I did. The one in my sig now is but a single one of several I've made.

I work for ten hours for three days where I work, I just so tired now.

Boy, didn't do much today but it sure has sucked.
First off, I'm late on my rent. I can't pay it til my next paycheck or else I won't be able to pay my car insurance off in time (it's set to automatic payments because they charge me to receive bills by email or in the mail. It's stupid.)

Also I got a ticket in the mail today. Apparently got caught by a redlight camera. Yep. According to the photos I crossed the line .04 seconds after the light turned red. No human police officer would have called me on that, I can guarantee, but I still ran the light technically, so I can't fight that.

Oh, and my credit card's maxed out. Gotta make a payment on that by the end of the month. That's not an enormous deal, but whatever. It's money I gotta throw in a hole.

So all in all I owe a little over eight hundred dollars by the end of the month. And then I gotta make ends meet next month.
