I do like when it rains. It puts you in a comfort zone, and relieves stress. At least for me anyway.

I think your rain took a wrong turn and came our way.

Even when it does rain, it's only for an hour or two and then the sun beats down again. What a tease.

All it does is make me sleepy, like all my energy is gone.

Nothing really exciting today. Dad's been going through the insurance companies since Allstate raised their rates, so we're trying to find a cheaper company. Worked this evening but I worked some more on the marker tutorial I'm doing and played with the niece for a little bit.

Horrible. After bugging my folks to take me to Barnes and Noble, they didnt have the damn book I was looking for. Nope. Sold out. They had the NEXT one, and TWO of the PREVIOUS one, but not the one I was looking for. God damn it. So I ordered one and they will call me when it comes in. Damn I miss Borders already. In fact, I rarely went to Barnes and Noble, because Borders had pretty much all they had, plus plushies and sweets and [parasitic bomb]. Plus they were smaller so it was easier to find what you were looking for.

And it was easier for me to get to the mall than to Barnes and Noble.

So Im feelin' kind of grumpy.

I feel you on the Barnes and Noble thing. Sadly it's the only bookstore that's close to me now since Waldenbooks closed down in the mall, and the closest Border's had closed down too. It really sucks because I liked Waldenbooks so much more.

As for the day, uneventful. Went with the folks to Williamsburg to look at the outlet malls. Mom got the niece some halloween socks and a new waffle maker, so we'll see how that goes. XD

I had the same basic predicament about a month back. It was really bizarre though since not only did the local Chapters not have what I was after, but also every bookstore we stopped at during my trip to the states. Though at least I did get more John Steinbeck outta the huge Barnes and Noble we went to.

Anywho. Uh, I got up around 9am, did the usual morning routine. Had the place to myself most of the day. Probably should've used the opportunity to play some PS3 on the 50" upstairs, but instead wasted away my time on here among other sites. Applied to a few jobs online as per my mother's insistence finally. Emptied the dishwasher later. And uh, yeah. Only real productive bits there. Overall an ever so thrilling summer day. I just totally live life on the edge don't I

Waldnbooks became Borders

They were owned by the same company I know, but the store in the mall still went by the Waldenbooks name, and they closed long before Borders closed.

My day was wet, wet, wet, wet, and a bit wild.  It's been raining practically nonstop since Sunday!  The creek out back flooded and people upstream lost their bridges.  One got stuck in the culvert, which caused the water level to surge and wash out the bridge behind my apartment.  The back yard was flooded clean up to the deck, the basement no doubt flooded out as well.  The neighbor's fence is destroyed.  The water receded a bit, then surged again when something else got jammed against the culvert.  The road was under water and the back yard was once again a river.

The water has receded somewhat again, but several roads are under water, people's cellars are flooded, there is all sorts of debris everywhere, it's still raining, and people are evacuating.

And it's to continue to rain well into Friday.  :|

My day was amazing.

- Got up
- Took a COLD SHOWER
- Had some eggs with spinach while checking my newsfeed (I still can't get [tornado fang]ing soccer news blocked in the portuguese feed, no matter how much I fiddle with the damn filter)
- NOBODY on the one single Stairmaster we use at the gym =D
- Felt awesome so I made some bean rice with cod cakes for lunch, and they turned out SO FLUFFY
- Hot as [tornado fang] day, so I spent the afternoon playing some pool with friends
- DREAM THEATER'S NEW ALBUM CAME OUT HELL YEAH so I go buy it
- See this when I go buy my LP and laugh loudly

- Go online, everyone's bored, ACE COMBAT MATCH WE HAVEN'T DONE THAT IN LIKE A YEAR
- BOGIES ON MAH SIX. BLAM
- Took an evening shower and damn the new soap smells hella nice what is this strawberries [tornado fang] yeah
- Take a massive dump, large enough to stand by itself and look like a big black [ray splasher]. Silently think to myself that if I shat that, I could make millions at hardcore gay porn
- Make Tortellini for dinner, wash it down with a MacGyver ep
- Come here, tell you all about it while listening to the new album

Hell yeah. Hella day.

Twilight... In the Gay section.. Bueno, you just made my day mucho bueno excelente.  >0<

On a side note, my little project's coming along fine. 2/5 primary characters done, and managed to watch Ghostbusters, the animated series (not The REAL Ghostbusters, mind you, it's the one with the gorilla sidekick, a robot ghost, and a VERY familiar-looking pink bat).

Along with that, I managed to appreciate the Mega Man Xtreme spriting style; while it's not as old as Mega Man Classic's, I did however like how they managed to capture the tone of the first three games.. Aside from it's perculiar plot with it's sequel following the DNA soul theme of X6..

You play Ace Combat? Haven't played that [parasitic bomb] in years. It's fuuun, with a little side of Mech Warrior. One of the few good PC games'll I might actually play.

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Today was pretty damn cold. I left with a light jacket because I didnt think it would be that cold, and the Meteorologist said it would warm up a slight bit later on.

I got off the manhattan side of the ferry, and daaamn it was freezing. the jackit did nothing.

Got home later and it was still pretty cold, though not as cold. But it was pretty cold inside my house, so Im now wearing long jeans, slippers, and a very light spring jacket over a T-shirt.

I've been wearing a long-sleeve shirt all day, and earlier, I had my military jacket on.  Last evening, I wore my old, oversized buck sergeant jacket (it's a medium, I wear an extra-small).  This evening, when I head out for the weekend, I'll be wearing it again.

So far my day has been sleep, though earlier in the morning I was trying to get some Score Attack Medals in SF643D, apparently I'm really rusty, the only level I've been able to get a gold on was Fichina...

On another note I have a birthday party to go to at 5 PM. Not looking foward to it but I have no way out of it since my mom wants to spend as much time with me as possible before I leave.

So the other day mom found my MP3 Player.
It was in a pair of pants that got washed.

oops.

Though I was planning of getting  a new one soon. It was starting to wig out on me a bit.

But sucks for me, I don't actually have a backup of my music because I deleted my music folder last year to free up space on my Laptop.

Go figure. At least it wont be too hard to know what to download. Though 1 or 2 tracks might be annoying to get again, if I can even remember I had them.

Miraculously however, the earbuds still work just fine.

Thank God. Best earbuds ever. Even though a short time ago the left one stopped working, it suddenly started working again. The ones I had bought to replace them were total [parasitic bomb] too.

I put flea drops on the cats.  Then, I went into town and stopped at the military surplus store.  I got some woodland camo pants (size extra-small to go with my size extra-small jacket), a hat, and a big laundry bag.  Then, I went to Wal-mart when they were doing inventory and took boxes.  Lots and lots of boxes.
