Funny story, I was into one piece a long time ago (Back when it was being serialized in Shonen Jump in the US), about halfway after the Arlong story arc when I stopped reading (I stopped subscribing to SJ for some reason), and about halfway through the crocodile and Vivi arc when I stopped watching the anime. I now have been spending the past 9 days reading like crazy trying to catch up, as of now I'm officially all the way up to chapter 597, and for some reason this is the only manga to this day that has made me watery eyed.

Anyways, how do you guys think that the anime will be called when they get to the timeskip? We all know that whenever there's a big timeskip in a huge manga, there is a name change; look at Dragonball Z and Naruto Shippuden.

More then the new abilities they'll have, i'm actually far more looking forward to what the crew will look like in two years. I can't remember how old Luffy is pre-timeskip (wasn't it something like 16?) so i can't say how much will change but i'm expecting some new designs for the characters.

Seriously, the anime version is better than I expected. Luffy fighting off the Marines while getting to Ace and then giganto riffling a Giant into submission was an awesome moment
