Some one over at FAQs caught what I probably should have seen, were that I didn't just gloss over it.

Any way, the supposed villain that duped Bowser is named Gerakowitz. Gerakowitz is actually the JP name of some one we should all be familiar with, because he appeared in a past game of the M&L series.

I really like this artist's stuff. He has a nice way of coloring.

That said, Fawful totally deserves being a villain. He should be added to Mario's cast of recurring characters.

Well, as it stands right now, besides Bowser, obviously, he's thus far the ONLY villain, in any of the Mario RPGs, who's made a come back not once, but now SECOND time (he made an appearance in M&L2, where he promised to come back). That's already saying something, I would think.

So, who knows? Maybe he will end up being a personality we could stand to see once in a while. It'd be nice.

But you know what would be REALLY nice? ....If they bring back the Koopalings, too. Either as another round of fights, or, even better, they could end up being a part of Bowser's advanced attacks that he could learn over the course of the game!

I'm surprised the seven little cretins don't appear alongside Bowser Jr. more often. They would have made New Super Mario Bros. more bearable, since the physical bosses in that game felt much more like mid-fortress bosses, plus that would have kept Bowser Jr. locked to World 8, sort of like being the second-in-command, the honor previously residing with... Ludwig, I believe.

The fact that they were basically just a few frames of animation away from being in Super Princess Peach still hurts me to my heart.

I'm fine with all 8 of Bowser's brats being in the same game together, Ninty just needs to make it HAPPEN.

I know I'd pre-order it day zero if it used the awesome jumping mechanics of New! Super Mario Bros. and the varying powerups and awesome diversity of SMB3.

I'd be fine with just wall jumping. The triple jump seemed to get more and more useless as the game went on.

Well, to be fair, Wizpig was more Rare's baby. You DID forget Pigma, though... 

Any way, I think it probably has to do with the whole Asian mythos surrounding pigs. In the Chinese Zodiac, Pigs are portrayed as having the failings of being overly self-indulgent, fatalistic, lazy, materialistic, and a whole lot of bad karma-inducing things (which I take offense too, seeing how I was born in a year of the Pig!  ).

But any way, mythological tradition/stigma stuck. Ninty was only just sticking to lore that most people would stand to know and relate to (at least, in Japan ).

Yea, but Ninty should control thier pig fetish. Explain those pig-based enemies in FE and in Metroid. That's a bunch of pigs. (not to mention, I was born in July, meaning I was born in the year of...)

Funny thing is, Shining Man from the EXE anime was based off how annoying Peasley was. All he did was Sssshhhiiiinneee~ and gloat.

But the M&L1 cast would probably be cameos though.
