Well, of course you need it, how else are you even going to be able to see Makoto and Valk? And yes you can, you can choose what version to play, but I'll be using 1.02 becuse of Valk so you'd still need it =/

A fix like this shouldn't take till March.

I know, I say it because it's honestly such an insignificant thing that doesn't even affect the gameplay that they might as well just include the fix with the 1.03/CS2 update instead of going out of their way to fix it now. Of course, I'm just looking at the worst possible situation.

I will be getting the PSP version, for I do not care for 3DS outside of DASH 3... though, maybe someday.

According to sesame on Dustloop, the CS2 patch and Platinum will come out April 23. The patch will be free, and I'm guessing Plat will be the same price as Mak and Val.

Makes sense, making you pay for DLC characters was their stealth way of selling you CS2. Not bad. I wonder if they'll make a "Continuum Shift 2" pack with all 3 chars + system update though.

Yeah I could see them packing all three characters together for $20 on PSN, likely a tad cheaper on XBL.

Quite enjoyed Calamity Trigger.  Just 4 trophies away from platinum now.  It's pretty funny how slightly easy it is to go through Score Attack and Hell Mode when you know how to spam Jin's Ice Car.
