I know we aren't supposed to talk about rom hacks, but site's dead enough and I figure this is noteworthy enough.

Apparently this is a thing. Not that old either. This magnificent bastard has gone through X5's code and basically, made an "improved" edition with a few changes, chief among them- GETTING RID OF ALIA

Aside from that, there's also stuff like sprite fixes to the "injured" X and Zero sprite,and other small quality of life changes, but man i figure this is noteworthy if nothing else because DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD X5's Alia interruptions are finally gone!

I don't....see any rules about not talking about ROM Hacks?  I mean the only rules we have about those is we can't link the actual ROMs.

Wow, cool to see someone tackling X5's myriad of nuisances.  I think they've pruned their member list since the last time I posted anything on their boards, maybe I should register and drop a few ideas...

Hell yeah.

It's really refreshing to play the game without Alia bugging you every second.

Honestly it's kind of unnerving, because you've come to expect it

What injured sprites are they talking about?

Also, last thing they should fix is swapping out the music in the Ocean level and the Dr. Light Capsules. That way they have new songs instead of the reprises from older games. Does this thing let you get all the option parts like Jumper and stuff?

Who's actually going to notice those during just a regular/casual play through? It's nice that he fixed it, but it seems like a very small change.
