Here's another thing that makes me worried about the Headphone Jack going extinct, we have Bluetooth Speakers and Cars can connect to things with Bluetooth. So we've already been weening off of Headphone Jacks and Aux Cables.

The 3.5mm is not going away. End of story. High end laptops still have VGA ports and USB 2.0 is still a standard.

Studios would have to get all new equipment and startups would be screwed. In the A/V world, that jack is not going away.

They're going to have to if this becomes a consumer standard, especially since they can get around that with Wireless Head Phones and USB mics.

Yes, it will probably do fairly well, but considering how nearly every single thing that is electronic in some way probably uses that jack it'll be a long while before it goes away and is replaced.

Basically, it's gonna be quite a while before it becomes standard. We have nothing to worry about. I can still do voice acting and audio/video editing, do AR and reshoots, and not have to worry about replacing all my equipment.

You wanna get proprietary headphones for the new USB? Fine, whatever. I wouldn't mind having a set because I can run them through the charging port. One port for all things is fine. I don't care.

But in terms of the life expectancy of the 3.5mm jack... it's not going away any time soon. Waaaaaaaay too many things other than phones use it.

So, I was talking with an Uber driver the other day and he said that some guy around here hires an Uber driver all night to drive him around to catch Pokemon.

Not just drive him to a location, he hunts, and gets an Uber back. No, stay in the car and the driver drives him around town as he catches Pokemon. Nightly fares are easily $300.

Kinda defeats the purpose of Pokemon Go.

To be fair I catch most of my Pokemon while in my Mom's car, but honestly you shouldn't be abusing Uber for [tornado fang]ing Pokemon Go. They provide a service for people who really need it, not for a [tornado fang]ing phone game! I don't care if he spends $300 to quell some stupid and honestly unhealthy addiction, you shouldn't abuse a service like that, especially at night, and just waste their time, especially since the drivers are civilians.

I use Uber often, and yes, I use Uber to go into town so I can catch Pokemon. I'm also usually running errands while I'm there. It's only recently that we got Uber around here.

I also admit to catching Pokemon while in my dad's car as he's going through town. I hit PokeStops that way. But, most of the PokeHunts I do on foot.

I recommend using the Temporary Incubators for 5-10km eggs to get the most use out of them and the Infinite Incubator for 2-5km eggs.
