Yeah, I do the same thing.  Working on Malaporeon, took a break to finish an animation that I started before Malaporeon, and then stopped to make a tutorial, and while I have Malaporeon up, I'm planning another pic.

To be honest I'm not really sure, but I'm hardly the only one who has grey stands at my age.

you can never get rid of the headphone jack, that's like trying to get rid of the RF/Coaxial/RCA outputs on TVs.

Besides Apple is just one company, they're losing people to android constantly because android is far more versatile and easily opened. I don't think having a timed exclusive on an Endless Runner with a Mario skin or any bold changes like removing the headphone jack and forcing people to use the charging port with an adapter forced into it to use regular headphones will not win back anybody they've lost.

The other issue with the new headphones... err, AirPods, is that without a headphone cable it'll be much much easier to lose one, or both, of them. And the damn things are $160.

Yeah, the SP wasn't a phone/media player but that doesn't change the fact that removing a universal outlet and claiming that's being "courageous" is a dumb move. And a greedy one to boot, considering the price point of these things.

I have a few grey hairs in the back, but they're not that noticeable.  I've had the occasional grey hair in high school, too.  I blame stress.

I don't know, I'm just worried that other phone companies, particularly Galaxy, copying Apple and following suit if it doesn't bomb enough.

Just because Samsung is emulating Apple doesn't mean all the other huge companies like HTC, LG, Sony, and so on will do the same.

In all honesty, I BARELY acknowledge Samsung's phones as Android phones anymore.

It still doesn't change the fact that Galaxy is the most popular Android Phone because of sheer brand power and if those 2 make it the norm everything will follow suit and the Headphone Jack will become extinct.

I highly doubt that will be the case. There's too many things that use that size jack, and expecting it to go extinct because of two phone models is rather hyperbolic.

Yeah, far too many things use that jack.  Personal music players, Android tablets, external speakers, microphones, other phones, radios, computers, etc.

The PS4 controller has one as does the Wii U Gamepad. There are a ridiculous amount of things that use it lol

Cameras use it, as does most audio equipment.  It's a universal jack. 

The thing about proprietary jacks and ports is that it's harder for manufacturers to make them accessible and backwards compatible.  You won't see many—if any—third-party manufacturers using it.  They're gonna stick to using the universal parts because they are cheaper.

In the end, cheaper will end up winning out and that jack isn't going anywhere.  Apple can be as hoity-toity as it wants and cater to only the wealthy because it's a classist company, but their proprietary components will be in the solid minority when it comes to accessories and third-party peripherals.
