Well on my end my check engine light came on because apparently my gas line is [tornado fang]'d up and then the glass from my drivers side mirror fell out for no conceivable reason and my nephew broke my 3DS circle pad so I'd say I'm having a good weekend.

My mom is actually the racist one in my family. My dad is actually pretty liberal, which is weird. My dad is liberal and mostly votes democrat and my mom is conservative and mostly votes republican. My dad is very quiet and doesn't wear his beliefs on his sleeve, unlike my mom. I take very much after my dad in that regard.

I often have to tolerate my mom talking [parasitic bomb] about all manner of races and ethnics. She particularly doesn't like Somalis. I, on the other hand, am very compassionate about their plight. They didn't come here by choice. They came here out of necessity. They didn't want to be killed by bandits and pirates. My mom thinks they're all terrorists, when they're really just ordinary families. My old apartment building was full of Somali families and my mom would actually refuse to visit me in my apartment.

The thing is my Dad is a Democrat and hates the Republicans, Donald Trump especially. He's also a member of the NRA but he's not a redneck, really my Dad only really talks [parasitic bomb] because he was raised in that environment, if he was a really hateful racist he would have never married my mom who is a fulled blooded Cuban. He's more careless and makes racist stereotype assumptions than anything and it's aggregated by the fact he's seriously bipolar and probably somewhere on the autism scale, but he's not aware and would not admit it because in his world everything should be like the 50's sitcoms he watches over, and over, and over, and over, and over again.

Have I ever mentioned I also hate the 50's, because I really hate the 50's. [tornado fang] the 50's mentality man, at least until the Civil Rights movement started.

My dad is all about the 50's mentality. It's annoying as [tornado fang].

Mom has a bit of it, too, in regards to certain customs, but she's like the kindest person ever, so it's usually overshadowed.

So my mom has some really old documents, starting from 1998 onward, that she wants burned since she's rightfully paranoid about someone with ill intentions finding and using if we just put them in the trash and we don't own a shredder either. However my dad has a tendency to overdue things when it comes to feeding the fire, not to the point of having a house fire mind you, so the chimney is full of ash and if he tries to light it the house gets really smokey.

It was the whole pad. I managed to superglue it back on and it didn't end up getting stuck shut so I guess it's fine.

Had to drop 30 bucks for the car mirror and still have to get the fuel line checked out so that's bugging me still.

Man, my parents are 60s/70s kids and they have some of that 50s mentality. It's infuriating.

Honestly that sounds pretty common in Florida, though I would imagine frogs are much more common. Though Cuba is worse withat according to my mom, especially since Abuela is afraid of Frogs like how a Woman would be scared of mice. However even worse than that are these huge jumping Spiders that you have to pour gasoline on and set them on fire to kill them. I say Cuba is like a mini Australia.

It's not the geckos as I know they're common (and I'm jealous because I wanna go down there and catch critters). It's just Mom calling me in the morning to ramble about them and other things.

She called me on Sunday and after rambling, she finally remembered that I had a birthday.

Yeah I know but to be honest it's kind of expected as annoyingly irritating as that is, especially since it's always a waste of time. I'm glad I don't have to deal with something like that, though I know the feel since my Dad does similar but on a very much less substantial level. However he does do that when he calls old acquaintances, which definitely annoys the [parasitic bomb] out of them since they never call him back, and most likely offending them in some way as I ranted about yesterday. $:\$

Also I was browsing your tumblr and saw 2 things that amused me, that Drowzee that compiles the information for blackmail purposes and the discussion about Mewtwo's Pokken model. It looks shinier than the Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog models, and I didn't think that was possible.

I was supposed to go to an orientation yesterday but it turns that there wasn't no orientation and I wasted my time despite being told to come there on Monday. I am realy annoyed at this.

Internal problems suck. Spent the past week feeling like I've just been kicked in the junk (among other things). Tests for infection have turned up nothin', and I still have no idea what the problem is. And because this is me we're talking about, I always envision the worst case scenario for stuff like this.....
