The sprites all look awesome, Blackhook.

The portrait sub boss reminds me of a lot of one of the Castlevania games, which makes me happy.

Blackhook, I have to say that I am blown away and impressed.

These sprites are truly magnificent!

I particularly like the ones for Honey Griz, Denkibutsu, Axe Joe and Rage Draco.

Thank you. I sprited them with Castlevania in mind. Recently I´ve been playing the 3 DS simultaneously. Guess which one I finished first and that one inspired me with the Sub boss

I like the ones of reaper man the most, they all sseem to be heavily inspired by Castlevania (i.e. that skeleton thin) or ghouls and ghosts (the flying robotic demon). Very cool, best choices for horror themed enemies!

I'm pretty sure the "Flying Robotic Demon"(I assume you mean the red one right?) is the MM incarnation of Gaibon seeing as how Slogra has a MM sprite there too.

Anyway Blackhook, these look REALLY cool. I wish I had thought of these myself. Great Job.

Thanks guys...and yeah as Jace said, that is indeed Gaibon. Since this is Reaper Man´s stage I thought it would be fitting to add both Gaibon and Slogra

I´d liked to but I think that is enouch enemies for Reapper´s stage...
I want some of the stages to be a nod to other games... while some stages will have original enemies
Warp Man´s stage will have Portal and Half-Life based enemies
Divine Man will have Devil May Cry based enemies
I haven´t thought about Anchor Man´s enemies that much, but half of the stage will be schmup styled similiar to Rush Marine (less boring), the other half will be on Anchor Man´s ship, which will be full of traps.
You can suggest what kind of enemies I can sprite for the other stages.

Dark Sea has most of the sprites ripped, if you wanted any references. Although they lack Ecco's sprites for the second game.

And that game is notorious for being ridiculously hard. Play the levels 'Welcome to the Machine', 'The Tube', 'The Library', 'Hard Water' and 'Dark Sea'. They will make you RAGEQUIT fairly quickly. Sometimes I wonder how I got so far in that game when I was much younger. O.o
