It's that surprising considering the last game was released 14 years ago?  I'm pretty sure I barely had a Playstation back then.

I heard of Shenmue but never had a Dreamcast growing up.

Okay that explains why I never heard of it, we never had any of the Sega Consoles.

I never played the series myself, but I always hear about it. It's a cult favorite and many have clamored for Shenmue 3.

It's like Mega Man Legends; a somewhat obscure hidden gem that was highly unlikely to get a sequel.

Guess it's so obscure that no body I know talks about it.  Also somebady already snagged Ryo's sexy $10,000 jacket.

It's basically Shenmue fans' Legends 3. Except theirs is going to exist, and ours are not. I can't help but to support something like this.

Objectionman, you seem to know a lot about it could you enlighten me and tell me what it's story and gameplay is like? I've read it's like MM Legends, but how so?

At risk of being shot, I'm going to say that... I wasn't much of a fan of what I played of the original. Good for you people who wanted a third one, though.

So a crap ton of strech goals have been added with the last one at a whopping 11 million bucks and more can still be added.  I don't know how I feel about this, especially since 11 mil is practically double what Bloodstained made and that is the highest funded video game on Kickstarter.
