Shuu nodded. "Yeah, I know she is." He sighed. "And I'm certain she'll be asleep until her body adjusts to the power she got from that shard. In the meantime, since I'm not exactly the most skilled healer, I'm going to pay the local daemon lorde a visit. I wanted to know if you were up for a bit of a trip while Aya recuperates and the others help patch the town up."

It took a long moment as the Professor looked back over his shoulder.  Finally, he gave a sigh and relented, emerging from the room and his silent vigil.  He left his bag behind and he closed the door quietly. "I had, I had applied a p-poultice to bring down any fever, but... but there... there isn't m-much I can do for her right now..."

Aya seems to be sleeping more peacefully now then when they brought her back but there is no telling when she'll wake up.

((So question-everyone want to have some down time before Aya wakes up and we find out next destination, we'll be heading to a major city so some political stuff might pop up in our misadventures  ))

((Sure.  I'm mostly waiting on Sapph right now, anyway.))

[Sorry I haven't been posting. RL has been giving me writer's block... And I'm having trouble thinking up the daemon that Shuu would go visit... >>; ]

A hyperactive girl like Pema requires multiple posts and since no one is typing anything up, I'm kinda stuck in one place.)

(I'm not sure what to do with Toshi right now. Was going to have a random citizen interact with her, at a bathing area, but lost interest in doing so. I guess I'll just wait this one out, for now.)

(I probably ought to write something due to this being Fxeni's second hometown, but I'm coming up blank.)

(I mean I had some ideas but I'm honestly coming up blank on how to and if I want to execute them. 

The only other idea I have is that we still haven't had a scene with all the men in the hot springs for fan service but that's really it.)

-A week passes and the town begins to return to normal, and so too does the land around it. While always a little cold the bitter winter that had threatened the people and creatures had finally giveaway to warmer weather. The townsfolk were understandably grateful and Fxeni too has some catching up to do, the townsfolk offer some supplies and some hands to help get the airship repaired for the next leg of the trip--once Aya awoke.

Aya herself finally begins to stir after what seems like an eternity groaning slightly her movements catch the professor's notice.

(Just a friendly heads up, it's spelled "grateful", not great full.)

Pema was outside, sitting besides the airship with her legs crossed. Resting on her lap were 5 peaches that were freshly preserved in the market. She grabbed one and proceeded to take large bites.

"So yeah, I think it would be "bunch", right? Like, "I have a bunch of fruit, right now!" Or maybe I should just say "I got myself a bounty of fruit!" Hmm, no, that can't be it..." She crossed her arms.

Salem sighed. "Like I stated yesterday, "a lot of fruit" is serviceable enough."

"Yeah, but it's kinda boring though... how about bushels? That's a thing, right?" Pema took another bite.

"Well, bushels can, indeed, be used to measure a large amount fruit or other dry commodities. That being said, it's not really a word people toss around much." He replied.

"Aha! Then we'll be the 1%" She proclaimed proudly.

"Wrong context, Pema."

She kicked out her legs and reclined on the exterior of the airship. With her hands folded beneath her head, she smiled warmly. "I can't wait to see what kinds of exotic food the next town will have! We'll get 'em by the bushels!"

"Why... Why was this even a conversation just now..." Salem grumbled.

Just then, Pema noticed something at the corner of her eye. Adjusting herself upright, she turned her head to the left and saw a young boy leering in her direction. His shirt seemed a bit muddy and his shoes were torn. His body was half hidden behind the wooden crate that was stationed in front of the shop.

"Hey... didn't I see that same boy hanging around the Inn, a few days ago? I was eating outside the building, and he was standing on the opposite end of me." Pema exclaimed.

"Huh, I think you're right." He agreed. "That is a little odd, though granted, this is a fairly small town. You're bound to run into familiar faces."

She got up and walked towards the shop. "I think he might be hungry. That's why he's looking over here."

The boy noticed her and darted his eyes around, slowly retreating backwards.

"Wait, don't leave!" Pema hollered and handed him a peach. "This is what you wanted, right? Have you tried them before? They're some of the best fruit I've had -- super refreshing!!"

"Uh- Um..." He looked at the peach, then back at Pema. Without a word, he backed away hesitantly and ran off.

Pema blinked. "Oh, I guess he wasn't hungry?"

"What a strange kid..." Salem spoke.
