Grifter - "Welp, that looks like the last of 'em." as he straps his rifle around his back, taking a look at an unconscious Professor... "Hey, there 'ol chap. You feeling okay there?"

Toshi feeling a bit concerned about the Professor, ran up to him to check on him.

Toshi - "He seems okay. Unconscious, but he's okay." a bit relieved, however... "But what do we do now?" she looked down, realizing they failed to rescue the one they were suppose to have saved "Where do we even begin searching for Aya?"

[Sakura Leic]

"That shouldn't be too hard....Shadow Master was with them.....and Alberto.....Albertus....whatever his name is, created Shadow Master and is working with White Beard.....and White Beard is in Skull Cove along with the Omni Gem......so Aya should be there." Sakura explained as she put things together herself.

"The problem is how do we go about rescuing Aya and the Omni Gem, the enemies are powerful and they obviously thought everything through.  They're always at least 3 or 5 steps ahead of us and we don't exactly know how many operatives they have or their capabilities, so how do we one up them?"

"We'd need a god damn Army if they're this strong, but we don't necessarily have the time to round up such an Army, especially if even the Dwarves weren't enough.  Not to mention with all the hatred of other races around, it'd almost be impossible to make a miracle like that happen in a reasonable amount of time." Calien remaked. "Is there no other way?"

Sakura notices something shiny on the ground as they rest from their battle, the object turns out to be Aya's pendent; it has been shattered and no longer seems to contain any magic.

((That might be important later, OOC info should the part want spend some time discussing their next actions...the possessed dwarves were freed as soon as Doll Master left the area but a good dozen people are dead. The villains also now have 2 of three keys!  ))

"Aya's pendant.....it's broken and everything.....Daddy do you think we can fix it?" Sakura asked.

"I might be able to fix the gem part but I don't know jack about Precursor tech....maybe the Dwarves and the Prof can help?  Those people have mentioned that the Dwarves have been taking Precursor treasures so maybe they know a thing or 2?" Calien pondered.

[Fxeni]

"Speaking of the Dwarves, we should probably go see if they need any help," Fxeni said as his spear dissipated.

[Sakura Leic]

"Yeah I think they should be at the watch tower but I don't know if the path Riagan blocked has opened up again, he might need to take us to an alternate path." Sakura stated "Not to mention clean up......"

[Protoman Blues]

"Come. We shall go meet up with my father." Riagan said. "We have much to discuss!"

"Indeed." Calien nodded.

"Lead the way Riagan." Sakura replied.

Meanwhile at skull cove...

Aya grimaces as her senses return, she squints her eyes as a bright source of light shines right in her face. "Ugh..." turning her head she notices that her location has changed, no longer fighting puppets in the war room but in some sort of lab; Aya's attempt to sit up is foiled when she notices her wrists and ankles are shackled to the table and her pendant is no where to be seen.

From the dark corner of the lab Shadow Master emerges a annoyed look on his face. "I really don't get what these people think is so special about you girl, can't even fight off ten little puppets; pathetic. Don't think your safe though, once they get the key you won't be useful anymore and I can return the favor for this scar." Shadow Master moves his thumb across his neck to get the point across before returning to the shadows to inform the others that she had woken up.

((And now time for a certain wily character to make his official appearance! By the way you should all hurry up and decide to come to Skull Cove before Aya dies or something ))

(Yeah like Calien said it's not like we can gather up an Army to storm Skull Cove as a distraction and get Aya out, guess we can only rely on the Dwarves. )

Not long after Shadow Master left, another shadowy figure appeared before Aya.

"... Zo... We finally meet... My dear Aya..."

When Aya's eyes slowly focused on the figure, she could see a hooded person, but there was something glistening under the hood. The figure slightly lifted his head, and Aya could now noticed a pair of glasses. The face... Looked like someone in their 30s... But the hair was greying, even the thick bushy moustache.

"Joo were zuch a pain to find... And captured... But it iz zo good to finally zee in in ze flezh!"

Albertus' face appoarched closer to Aya's, a smirk clearly visible.

Aya feels a little uncomfortable as he approaches "You are Shadow Master's creator--all those people in Iron Gate died because of you!" Her tone becomes angry.
