Aya touches her pendant and her blade re-appears in her right hand as if in response to Toshi's inquiry.

Aya - "This protected me from the fall...I think."

She glances at Fxeni

Aya - "Yes the floating city was my home, I could have sworn I had an important task up there though--odd maybe I'll remember later."

"It sounds like you were attacked judging by the damage here." Sakura stated "I can't see any other reason why you would fall from such a height with such conditions. Though....I didn't realize there was a city in the sky, maybe my father would know something about it."

"I'm actually already here." A male voice said as he came into view "Sure is a bigger mess than I thought, what the hell did I miss?"

"She and whatever this wreckage was fell from the sky." Sakura explained.

"......I can't believe I missed something like that." He said face palming.

(He was actually there longer than that.)

"I'm surprised the sound didn't get your attention... preoccupied I suppose?" Fxeni inquired. He wasn't quite sure what to make of Aya's story, so he waited to hear anything more before making any judgement.

"Well I was taking a nap, I didn't wake up until my daughter called for me." Sakura's father shrugged "Name's Calien by the way, our home is a little ways away, it's a bit small but I'm sure we can accommodate you all."

Aya disperses her blade following the others when they begin moving.

"Sounds good to me," Fxeni says as he climbs up the crater and hops onto his bike, then slowly follows Calien's lead.

Sakura and her father led the way though Sakura lagged behind since she found Fxeni's Chevel interesting.

"Wow this machine looks fascinating, did you make this Mr. Fxeni?" Sakura asked curiously.

"Indeed I did! I needed an efficient way to get around, so I made this Magitech bike that I power with magic," Fxeni explained as he patted the handlebars with one of his hands. "It still needs tweaks though."

"What kind of tweaks?" Sakura asked.

Calien was happy that his daughter was able to get along with someone, he was honestly worried that his daughter would have grown to fear humans, but he was glad it wasn't the case.

The elfen/Rabbit woman was a concern though, especially since she seemed to not only have a racism problem but her temper and stubbornness was an equal concern.

(So yeah Calien was indeed there at least around the time Toshi threatened to tear out Sakura's Larynx and would have intervened with his axe or sub weapon if it came right down to needing intervention. His race is also known for working in the shadows.)

Although she's willing to listen in on Sakura and Fxeni's conversation. She turns her attention to Calien, who she seems to suspect in her argument earlier.

Toshi - "Was he really planning on defending his daughter? Then why was I hesitating?" She thought to herself. As she followed the crew as if to learn more from Aya.

(Although I want say that she may have been aware of his presence when, she and Sakura were arguing. I'm not sure how to describe it, but I didn't want to make it look like she knew that he was there. In other words she was probably hesitating, in a way.

Or wait I think I know why she hesitated, she has two spiritual familiars warning her of Caliens presence, while trying to get her to calm down. I may have introduce them though.)

(He's not really observing her, he's more concentrating on leading the way and watching out for danger, or seeing if some local traps caught animals to eat.)

"Oh, it doesn't handle very well at high speeds. It hasn't been a problem yet, but it isn't exactly the type of thing I'd want to ever become a problem..." Fxeni replies. He looks around at the forest and takes a deep breath. "It's very calming here. Do you enjoy living out in the woods like this?"

"We haven't really needed to really, and Dad figures that it might be harder for him to find some kind of job to support us both in human civilization with his appearance so it's easier to stay here.

He used to live in a small village in the north, but he always got weird looks from half of the citizens there, so he figured that it would be better for us to live in secret so as not to bother anyone or cause some kind of panic. Unfortunately it seems people fear what they don't understand and in extreme cases try to eliminate that fear." Sakura explained.

"Yeah... people aren't exactly as tolerant as would be ideal, that's for sure," Fxeni replied a tad glumly, taking a quick glance over at Toshi. "I'm surprised there's no one who would give you guys a chance though. Not that I'm all that familiar with this area, mind you..."
