The Mana-Verse

[Sakura Leic]

"Yeah....thank goodness for that." Calien sighed.

"Hmm Mr. Hellhound seems interesting." Sakura remarked "I hope I can get to know him more....though that will probably take awhile."

[Phi]

"He sure doesn't shy away from the theatrics..." Salem said dryly.

"Yeah, I wonder if he can sing, too?" Pema tilted her head.

[Sapphire Knight]

"If he can sing, he's far too proud to do so." Shuu said, sighing.

Hellhound grumbled something in daemonic that was, undoubtedly, not very polite.

[Blue Valkyrie]

"Hellhound?" Aya seemed to find the name familiar.

[Sapphire Knight]

"We should probably get to the plan. We'll have more time to talk about things and bicker with an ornery daemon when we've got the masters taken care of." Shuu suggested, turning to look towards Heimdall.

[Why do I now have the sudden mental image of one or both of the Masters overwhelming the group only for Hellhound to just fully manifest himself and either eat them or incinerate them?]

(Not as good as my mental image of Hellhound's incredible singing talent.)

[Blue Valkyrie]

((Karaoke at the tavern? ))

[Fxeni]

"If we're quite done with the theatrical daemon..." Fxeni said, shaking his head. "Shuu and the Prof should approach from a different angle, so that the Prof can attack with his explosives while they are probably distracted with the sudden barrage of magic the mages will hit them with."

[Blue Valkyrie]

"I'll let them talk abit then you should all strike." Aya adds.

[Quickman]

The Professor nodded, though he wasn't sure what the exact plan was as he didn't hear it. "You, you, you may have to repeat our strategy, as I'm afraid that I m-might not have heard it properly..."

[Blue Valkyrie]

"Professor, Riagan and I will act as bait and draw them out; the rest of you will find good spots for the ambush then when we give the signal everyone attacks. Either from range or melee."

[Sapphire Knight]

Shuu nodded. "Then I'll be going to get myself into position." He said, starting off through the snow. "I can figure something out without getting seen."

[Mr. Haxwell]

Toshi - "Well then... let's get started." she said, before removing her mitts so that she could from a Tiger handsign... "Hyōbunshin no Jutsu!!"

With a puff of mist, an ice clone was created for each separate group, other than her own.

Toshi - "Oh, one more thing, guys" she said as a word of caution, "These are ice clones. They may be dressed warm like myself, but believe me, they're the complete opposite. If any of you're hypothermic, I suggest not being too snuggly with them." she quipped.

Turning her attention to her group leader.

Toshi - "Right, lead the way, Fxeni." she signaled to him, keeping the two segments of her spear ready, avoiding assembling them; so as to avoid exposing their positions.

(I forgot how many groups we'll be divided into; so assume there's 1 ice clone for each group, other than Fxeni's group, which the real Toshi'll be supporting.)

[Fxeni]

"Alright... now's as good a time as any," Fxeni said as he drew a quick map in the snow with his spear.

"Aya, Riagan and Calien, up the middle," he said as he drew a circle with a line pointing up the middle.

"Toshi and Pema, with me," he said as he drew a triangle on the left, with a line curving around to the side.

"Sakura, Prof and... Shuu?" he said as he looked up, seeing Shuu walking away already. He shook his head, and quickly drew a square in the ground with a line curving to the right. "You three go up the right."

"Shall we?" He said as he pointed forwards, and began to walk up to the left side of the town.

[Sakura Leic]

Sakura and Calien nodded as they headed towards their respective directions.

[Quickman]

Fortunately, Shuu was already headed in the direction for Fxeni's plan. He always liked taking the right for some reason.

"So, Gonsol, do you have a plan?" Susanoo asked, his voice echoing in Shuu's head.

"Not really. Aside from getting into position on the right and waiting to strike until things go down." The knight replied, turning to make sure that Sakura and the Professor were behind him (as he had still been close enough to hear that part of the plan when it was spoken). "Besides, I think we're still gonna need to formulate a plan anyway."

"And, of course, I'm in reserves for when [parasitic bomb] happens." Hellhounds voice chimed in. "It doesn't matter to me, I suppose, since I won't be letting you use me as any more weapons any time soon."

[The italics mean that this conversation is going on in Shuu's head.]

[Mr. Haxwell]

Toshi and her 2 clones all nodded towards each other, before dispersing among the three groups.

[Blue Valkyrie]

Aya and Riagan walked out toward where they heard the two master's converse near the gate of the town. Keeping their guard up neither knew what to expect but at least knew an attack was likely to occur soon.

Pema nodded and walked with Fxeni, hiking up her dress when she trudged through the deep banks of snow.

Calien followed behind Riagan and Aya til he found suitable cover to hide behind and waited for when the Masters to spring whatever trap they had planned.

[Quickman]

The Professor hung back with Shuu and Sakura.  He advanced far enough to gain a better vantage point and position himself so he could hear things carried on the wind, but still looked toward Sakura and Shuu for visual cues.

[Dr. Wily II]

By now, most of Heimdall's inhabitants have been turned into ice sculptures for Freeze Master's collection. Out in plain sight for all that still resist.

"Shouldn't we plan a strategy for the heroes?"

"Freezeeeeeeeeeee... Plan? We are both Masters of snow and ice. This blizzard is an extension of our bodies! Meaning... WE KNOW YOU ARE THERE!"

Freeze Master fired off multiple Freeze Crackers at the general direction of Aya's group, as Blizzard Master spun in place, causing the Freeze Crackers to grow in size.

[Blue Valkyrie]

Aya raises her barrier as the first of projectiles hit, while the smaller ones were easy enough to block the larger ones forced her back a bit, glancing to Riagan she gave the impression she'd keep their attention while he moved around to attack them with his hammer.

"So much for taking them by surprise I guess!"

[Quickman]

"We may as well be the bait that they want, lass," Riagan nodded as he swung his war hammer against the onslaught.  The Freeze Crackers shattered as the point of his hammer smashed into them.
