"Pema....." Sakura breathed as she grabbed her hand "We'll make sure nothing bad happens to you okay...we'll protect you."

[Phi]

Pema met her gaze and smiled lightly, nodding her head silently.

[Sapphire Knight]

Shuu blinked, noticing how Sakura and Pema were reacting to what he said before turning to the latter. "Is it something you do subconsciously, like breathing, or do you have to consciously absorb magic?"

[Blue Valkyrie]

"My name is Aya, I'm a guardian of the old empire. It's my mission now to find the shards of the omni-gem and restore balance to this world." Aya says to Shuu "I think I may have a way to track them down--it will take some effort and some time though." Aya ponders.

((if Heimdall is the agreed on destination Aya's plan can point them there.))

[Quickman]

((Heimdall sounds fine to me.  Just let the Prof know.  He's off by the mine entrance, minding his own business.  I don't know what to do with him at the moment, so I got him out of the way.))

[Phi]

Pema turned herself away from him, staring off elsewhere.

Salem floated from her grip and approached Shuu, "Look, I'm sure you mean well, however... This is not a subject Pema can speak about. Not yet, anyway."

[Sakura Leic]

"Yeah she's not ready to talk about it right now, but I'm sure she will be someday, it hurts her too much right now." Sakura added.

Calien listened as he was shocked that Pema had yet another tragedy under her belt, and this one seemed worse than the one he heard yesterday. Though he was very worried for her he was amazed how despite all this she could be happy and smile so genuinely.  She was stronger than she thinks she is.

(I really need to come up with a name for that Village at the North of the Forest.)

Shuu looked at Salem for a moment before sighing. "Sorry, I mean no disrespect or offense..." He said, turning his attention to Aya now. "Interesting... Are you a descendant, or an immortal?"

[Blue Valkyrie]

"I was--present during the fall of the empire. I am a guardian we don't age as the gods fashioned us to be their vessels should they need to interact with the physical world. I am the last guardian other than my--well It's my duty to restore the omni-gem before balance is destroyed for good." Aya looks a little sad as she cuts her self off.

[Quickman]

The Professor looked up from his meditation, but he was too far away to hear the conversation.  He heard something in the mine, and he looked to the entrance.  He once again considered going inside, but decided against it.  Instead, he bowed his head and returned to his meditation.

At the moment, he didn't feel he was needed.

((What kind of place is Heimdall by the way? I'll try to get a post in after work today.))

(Situated in the cold north, eternally around the snow and everything that comes with it. It would also be a somewhat smaller and more tight-knit community most likely. As such, it relies more heavily upon magitech and would be more advanced in that area than the norm.

How advanced, though, is something that would be up for discussion. My initial posts were filled with stuff that was higher tech, but then we've been in places that were more standard Fantasy fare so we'll have to scale that back I'm pretty sure... which is also why I've been systemically destroying everything I posted about one by one )

(Makes sense, but seriously does Calien need to make coats for everyone who needs them?

Also can the time skip be a few days at the very least so armor pieces and a boomerang can be made?)

(Probably couldn't hurt to have coats, yeah.)

(Well with materials from the Dwarves I don't think we need to use a lot of bear fur now that I think about it.)

(I'd say Pema is dressed for the occasion already. )

(Yeah, sure. I have a couple of outfits in mind.)

(I think Sakura's winter outfit would be similar to the new outfit I was thinking of but with fuzzy trim.  Still don't know what should be under the poncho cape thing though, I want some armor but I wonder if the top should be partial or full?

I have armored boots and armored leggings not covered in shorts and I was wondering if I should have like part of her arm armored but the chest area is really bugging me, besides the cape. 

I think the cape would cover her upper chest for the most part but under that I have no idea.  Help?

Also some armor ideas for Calien would be great too, something not too heavy but not just clothes.)

(Looks like we're heading to Heimdall then. North it is! Anyone have any business to attend to before we leave? Getting Shuu to join should be first though.)

(We already did that, and I can make clothes during a time skip.  I also wanted Sakura to talk to Riagan to get to know him better but I'll wait until PB has more free time. 

So I got nothing.)

((Prof is set for winter wear.  He has an overcloak in his Bag of Holding.  He also has simple boot moccasins.))

((Yes, he will wear shoes.  Just this once.))

(I keep imagining he should be wearing like some toe shoes rather than regular shoes.)
