The Mana-Verse

[Protoman Blues]

"What manner of strange device is this?" Riagan asked.

[Sakura Leic]

"To be honest.....I have absolutely no idea." Sakura answered as it looked like Fxeni was too concentrated on White Beard to respond "I wish I knew more about stuff like this but I don't, all I know is it's some sort of machine that Moron over there is using to try and fight us since he's probably not strong enough to fight us himself.  It might be similar to some crab thing that fell into my forest but maybe this is a more powerful version.  The point is that we need to smash it."

[Protoman Blues]

"Enough talk, then!" Riagan said while gripped the sledgehammer, ready to attack it.

[Sakura Leic]

Sakura enchanted her weapons with Electricity to see if that would help out and threw some Kunai at the joints.

[Blue Valkyrie]

White Beard tilts his head slightly "You look familiar lad...did I plunder your treasure?" He laughs as a barrier of mana raises around the machine. There is no way the party will be able reach Mask Master or the Omni-Gem as long as White Beard has them engaged.

"Quick professor, what ever you plan to do be fast we haven't much time!" Aya nods charging at the great machine with the others.

[Sakura Leic]

(So does the thing block magic attacks or just makes it so the heroes can't press forward?)

[Blue Valkyrie]

((It absorbs all damage BUT has a finite ability to do so. Just have to overwhelm the barrier with combined attacks))

[Quickman]

The Professor handed a few explosive vials to Aya. "I'm afraid, I'm afraid I have... limited resources.  We can bomb it, but, but, but for a direct assault, I... well..."

He showed Aya his charred hands. "I probably shouldn't use my p-powders..."

Turning, he pulled an explosive vial from his pocket and threw it at the barrier.

[Sakura Leic]

The Electric Kunais bounce harmlessly on the ground which made Sakura a little miffed.

"Great the barrier can block attacks." Sakura grumbled.

[Blue Valkyrie]

Aya nods keeping one Vial in her off hand as she charges at the barrier lobbing the explosive vial at the barrier and slashing just as the explosion passes. The quick combo hit has a noticeable effect rather than Sakura's single attack. Oddly White Beard doesn't not counter attack, perhaps the barrier prevents him from doing anything? Not that it matters as he is simply buying time for Mask Master.

[Sakura Leic]

"Oh I get it now." Sakura said as she waited so she can time her attack with the others "You really are a moron, you know that?"

[Quickman]

Digging through his bag for more explosives and combustibles, the Professor hit upon an idea.  However, he needed to observe the barrier some more.  While the barrier prevented attacks, he wasn't sure if it would prevent others from passing through it.  Watching the barrier, he passed more vials to Aya, keeping a close watch on White Beard and the giant automaton to see if any part of them would pass through the barrier unimpeded.

His mental gears began to churn as he pocketed his goldstone freeze charges.  If the attention could remain on the attacking parties, he could sneak in through the barrier and attack directly.

(Going to wait for the others to post, but me and Aya should totally do a X-Strike next.)

(Also since Fxeni has expressed a desire to have a Training Montage with Peam to make Duel Techs they should be able to create Antipode Bombs. )

[Fxeni]

"You've enslaved my town for long enough! Your magitech won't be enough to save you!" Fxeni exclaimed as he focused his mana into one spot. A green runic circle appears beneath him, ready to unleash when the others are ready to strike.

(So yeah, in the offchance I'm not around, one of you have him cast Thunder Blade as you strike.)

[Protoman Blues]

After gathering the plan from everyone, Riagan stands ready with his comrades, ready to strike on command.

[Blue Valkyrie]

"Everyone attack at the same time, Sakura!" Aya nods and charges holding her blade to the side as she approaches the barrier.

[Sakura Leic]

"Exactly what I was thinking." Sakura nodded as she approach the barrier from the opposite side of Aya.

[Fxeni]

"O darkened storm cloud, loose thy blade and run mine enemies through! Thunder Blade!"

The blade of lightning struck against the barrier fiercely. As it struck, Fxeni began chanting another spell immediately in preparation of the next strike.

[Protoman Blues]

Riagan charged the barrier, ready to hit it with all his strength and the might of his sledgehammer! "BEGONE!!!"

[Sakura Leic]

Sakura and Aya charged the barrier at the same time attacking in a X formation.

(Also Sakura's sword is still electrified if that means anything.)

[Quickman]

In the intervening time, the Professor had fashioned a sling and used it to hurl his explosive vials at the barrier.  With each throw, he edged closer to one end of it, waiting for it to go down just enough.  He had a plan.

(Extra damage maybe?)

Aya's goddess blade left a clear trail of light as it cleaved at the shield in synch with Sakura's strike, the combined efforts of the party caused clear damage as the shield began to grow unstable.

((One or two more good hits should be enough since everyone responded so fast ))
