The Mana-Verse

[Fxeni]

"Thank you for your hospitality, sir," Fxeni said with a slight bow.

[Sakura Leic]

(And there was much rejoicing bowing.)

[Phi]

*Psst* "Salem, Salem, everyone is bowing! We should bow, too!" Pema whispered to him.

"Well, I don't think that's really necess-"

Pema bowed and pointed the staff at the floor, causing Salem to "bow", in a way.

He sighed.

[Sakura Leic]

Calien softly snickered at Pema's gesture before he looked to his daughter who seemed to be glancing at Riagan.

[Quickman]

Realizing that he was the only one who didn't bow, the Professor put his supplies away and got down on his hands and knees and bowed deeply, his hood flopping over his face half-obscured by a hastily-applied poultice.

"Much, much, much humble apologies.  I admit ignorance, ignorance to your plight and, and, and I ask, I ask for forgiveness on b-behalf of the Order..."

Calien sighed and hoped the King would understanding, or Queen forbid Riagan doesn't throtle him from across the room. 

[Protoman Blues]

"Alright alright. Enough bowing. You are guests here in Gimrak." the King remarked. "And you seem to be on unfriendly terms with the Order. Well, most of you anyway!" he said while looking at the Professor with pity in his eyes.

"I am sorry for the way you have been treated by my kin. To make amends for this.... A FEAST IS IN ORDER!" the King yelled out as the dwarves cheered aloud.

[Sakura Leic]

"Sounds good to me, I've haven't much to eat since I had to learn how to drive a vechicle that practically no one has driven before." Calien nodded.

"Walking through the caves made me forget I was hungry to be honest." Sakura giggled as she awaited Pema's inevitable exaggerated joy.

[Phi]

Pema completely froze in place, "S... Salem?"

"Yes, Pema?"

"I can't feel my legs... Is this normal...?" She sounded as if she was in a trance.

"... Um..."

"D-Did... Did you hear what that nice man said...? Just now? With his mouth words?" Her eyes grew wide, her body vibrating in an odd manner.

"God have mercy on us all," Salem muttered, "Yes, I heard h-"

Pema bounced happily around the group, "FEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAASSSSSSSTTT!!"

She joined hands with one of the dwarves and jumped in place.

Sakura giggled even louder and Calien was trying everything he could to contain himself, and failing spectacularly.

[Dr. Wily II]

(... Darn it. I want to pinch Peam's cheeks so badly now. SO DARN CUTE)

[Quickman]

The Professor had gotten up from his bow and was limping behind the others in a slow pace, surveying the other Dwarves.  He felt unwelcome due to his affiliation with the Order; an affiliation he was not yet ready to denounce despite of all the things he had learned about it, and the disdain and derision that others regarded him with.  He couldn't release his own views of the Order.  The outsiders didn't see what he saw.

[Protoman Blues]

"While we are waiting, please tell me more of the outside world." the King asked the party. "Being a King means I don't get to leave the throne that often. Don't worry though, I still know how to throw a great party!"

King Pyritecrusher and his fellow dwarves laughed aloud. Riagan remained quiet and somewhat apprehensive.

[Sakura Leic]

After recovering from her giggling fit Sakura noticed that Riagan was still unusually quiet and decided to approach him.

"Mr. Riagan sir....are you okay?" Sakura asked him.

[Protoman Blues]

"I am fine. If you'll excuse me!" Riagan said as he walked away. The King glanced at his son as he did.

(Riagan will be back later.)

[Sakura Leic]

Sakura looked at him as he left as she knew he was lying, however she knew she couldn't help him if he wasn't ready so she decided to keep going to get some dinner.

Calien wondered about Riagan himself, especially since Sakura seems to have been taking an interest in him.  He decided not to worry about that now and turned to the King.

"I admit I know the feeling, my daughter and I have been living in the forest for 16 years cut off from society, quite a bit has changed.  I.....also admit due to that situation I have never seen nor heard of Dwarves until today, and my daughter hasn't either."  Calien stated sheepishly "Oh and forgive me I realize haven't even introduced myself or my daughter.  I'm Calien and her name is Sakura."

[Quickman]

Following the party to a grand banquet hall, the Professor found a corner and went to it.  With his back against the wall, he was able to keep a better watch on the other Dwarves without worry of any of them sneaking up behind him.  His hood was still up and he slid to a seat as he watched silently.

He was waiting for the others to find their seats before he would join them, as he didn't want to be exposed to the crowd.

[Mr. Haxwell]

Feeling relief that the dwarves understood their side of allegiance, she walked along to join the feast with the others. Watching the Professor's ever paranoia get the better of him. Toshi let's out a sigh...

Toshi - "Good grief." she mutters, before walking over to the professor, taking a seat near him, "Come on now, Professor. There's no need to be so... shy." she helps him to the table, "You must be hungry from all the trauma you've been going through."

"If I ever get the chance. I'm going to make the Order suffer a pain worst than death itself. This has got to stop." the loathe-some thoughts cross her mind.

(I don't know. I feel like I'm either trying to make Toshi to caring around the Prof., or it sounds like I'm trying ship the two. )

(Agreed.)

[Blue Valkyrie]

Aya followed along with the others although she doesn't speak up, mostly due to her own ignorance to the outside world.

[Quickman]

The Professor sat quietly, his hood still up.  His shoulders were hunched and his head was low as he tried to make himself small and unnoticeable.  He was hungry, but he was far too uneasy with what was going on around him. 

A drink was placed in front of him, but he didn't touch the frothy mug.

[Blue Valkyrie]

As the feast began and food was had by all Aya came up to the professor and Toshi, she had a plate of various dwarven cuisine. "Professor, you should eat." She places it down infront of him and joins the two. "I'm not sure what "chips" are but I was told they are tasty." Aya says with a friendly smile.

((Not potato chips but rather fries. Mostly a reference to the hobbit movies. ))

[Protoman Blues]

(Haha, I don't know if Chips were a Dwarf specialty, but hey why not )

"Aye. Eat please." The King said. "And allow me to apologize for my son, Riagan. He is very protective of our dwarf brethren and our culture!"

[Sakura Leic]

"I see, it was very evident in the way he talked.  I can understand why he was so angry at us when he thought we caused that Avalanche." Calien nodded.

"Do you know where he was going and why?" Sakura asked "I admit...I'm sort of worried about him."
