Pretty much anyone that lives some where with a UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) that's less than -8 is later than California.

Either way, I saw it on Mythbusters. You need a ton of Mentos per bottle/2 liter, and the introduction of the Mentos into the soda has to be very sudden.

Yeah, I know. And it'll work with regular coke too. Thing is, we couldn't get the wrapper on the mentos cut such a way where all of them would fall in at once.
