Runemasters are one of the most useful classes in EOIV. Devastating magic, which Pema will develop later in this RP (though, even by Runemaster standards, she has enormous potential).

It's up to Fxeni to help get her to that level!

And does she absorb magic just by being near it? When Sapph thinks of it, he's going to run a little test to see if it would be safe for her to be around daemons and a large source of magic.

It's a little... complicated. More of that ability will be explained in her backstory.

For now, it seems that she can only absorb mana through touch. A manifestation of sensory ability.

The only reason Pema said Professor Bunny was because I thought he had Hypno ears and snout. So, I guess that nickname doesn't work now.

And I can't imagine anyone BUT Pema giving someone a name like Cuddles...

And really, the mead hall is open for any discussion.  Most of the party has been zombied into it.

Pema doesn't really have anything to discuss, besides the mana absorbing thing. However, she won't be ready to speak about it yet.

I'm sure she'll be more than happy to chime into whatever discussion happens, though.

I don't think Pema would discuss Party plans either.  Though maybe Sakura can ask what the heck Salem is?

He's okay, though.  He's taking a break, and then it's back to work.

Anywho, Peam doesn't have to really have any plan input.  But, I figured Calien and Sakura would have at least some.  At some point, the party needs to travel to the North.  It's going to get cold.  The best thing to do now would be coordinate with Riagan and the King for supplies.  Discuss plans for departure, get supplies, don't worry about making costumes; just get furs and thick blankets and robes for the time being.

The party will need food for travel, dry goods for clothing and salve-making, tools, extra weaponry for those who don't have any, medical supplies to treat the wounded (Prof will still be injured by the time they get there), water, and maps with routes and passages in case they need to travel on foot for whatever reason.

This is going to be quite a journey into a different climate.

As for in Manaverse... I guess I could have Fxeni wander in as well to discuss matters. He'd know what the climate is like, as well as the general needs and travel time.

Cuddles had a good run.  He, Adam, and Aya were good friends.  Out of that group, only Aya survived, but stepped down from militia commander after all hell broke loose.  Fxeni took over duties, then.  Lavinnia became a candidate for militia captain after killing dwarves with a pickaxe(!), but never actually joined the militia.

Also, currently trying to think of an explanation for why the previous Sapphire Knights don't know where the blue metal came from. Only thing I can think of at the moment is that the first Sapphire Knight collected and stored a LOT of it for future Knights to make their armor with, but forgot to write down where he/she found it, aside from somewhere near Gimrak.
