RPM-Adventure!

[Sakura Leic]

Zepter....the land that many adventures strive to find.  Sarah too desired to find this mythical land but not for riches nor the magic she desperately needed.  Her parents went to find this lost land in hopes of getting a better living for all of them, but they vanished.

Even though she was wary of the man she slowly went to his table and cleared her throat.

"Pray pardon but I couldn't help but overhear what you folks just said." She said hesitantly "Do you really intend to find the lost kingdom of Zepter?"

[Blue Valkyrie]

Reva turned her gaze to the newcomer "Yeah, I'd wager most of the travelers here tonight will head into the fog soon too."

[Sakura Leic]

"I see....If you don't mind me asking may I join you?" Sarah asked a bit nervous.

[Phi]

Strolling through a narrow path in the Goldwood forest and soon approaching the town, a young woman, age 22, looked up at the night sky and began to quietly sing a soothing tune to herself.

~The forest grows in mysterious ways
Branching on from stardust
We find ourselves again
The merchants and barters
Kings and thieves
Ye all come together
Symphony and glee~

The woman with rosy skin, long flowing brown hair and hazel-colored eyes let out a yawn while nearing the town. She wore an outfit that could described as a "battle-ready gown", complete with short sleeves and red/black boots. A silver pendant hung between her clavicle. In her holster, held a rather average looking sword with a blade that appeared to be entirely black.

The distinct raw scent coming from the trees and leaves, due to the rainfall shortly before hung in the air, even as she stepped onto the cobblestone path leading up to the town entrance.

"What a beautiful night," She said, soon approaching the guards.

"Welcome to Goldwood," The Knight at the entrance greeted the stranger.

"Thank you for the kind welcome, sir Knight!" She bowed and entered.

She walked around a bit looking for a place to settle down. She's been on a long journey, and Lord knows she deserves some rest.

"Oy, fair miss. Ye look lost!" A grizzled old man hobbled over to her.

"Oh, haha, I suppose I am. I'm looking for a nice place to rest for the night," She responded.

He nodded and rubbed his gray beard, "Look no further than the Goldwood Inn, good traveler!" He pointed his finger down a path to the right of her, "Keep goin' down and turn right. Can't miss it!"

"Many thanks, kind sir!" She smiled and proceeded down the path.

The old man turned around, "Oh, and what be your name, madame?"

"Thy name is Luna, hailed from the Kingdom of Rhizome," Luna bowed.

"Well, it's very nice to meet you, miss Luna of Rhizome. Enjoy your stay!" He replied.

Luna bowed, "The pleasure is mine. Until next time."

She soon approached the Goldwood Inn and opened the doors.

"Hail traveler! How may I be of service?" The innkeeper greets her.

"One room, please. Oh, and a meal would be wonderful, as well," She clasped her hands together and smiled.

"What meal would you like?"

"Surprise me!" She grinned.

"You got it," He said as he grabbed a key and handed it to her.

Luna turned towards the loud table, "Oy, and who be these colorful bunch?"

(Now would be the time for someone to call her over.)

[Mirby]

"Artifacts? I'm headin' there for historical relics, preferably ones belonging to an age of bygone nature," Talyn replied, a light in her eyes sparking. "I get the feeling that there's plenty of history and lore locked away inside that fog..."

[Sakura Leic]

(I just realized that Prospero is the only man in the party currently.....)

[Mirby]

(I'm sure he prefers it this way)

(I know.)

[Phi]

(Can someone please call Luna over. She's not going to just barge in a conversation of strangers.)

[Blue Valkyrie]

((Oh wow I just noticed it is mostly a female team. ))

Reva moves her chair over for the newcomers "You two might as well join us not many other seats left."

Reva glances at Talyn "I've heard some interesting legends about Zepter, mostly about it's king. they say his crown granted him immortality and control over beasts--even if it's only a tale the crown would be more than worth it's weight in gold." Reva chuckles sipping her ale.

[Mirby]

"We'll see, I suppose..." she said as she noticed someone talking about the group. "Colorful bunch?" she yelled back. "Who you callin' colorful?!?"

[Sakura Leic]

"That sounds....like a terrible power." Sarah shivered.

[Phi]

"Thank you, miss... um, pardon, what is your name?" Luna asked as she took a seat.

Soon after speaking, she took notice of a woman screaming at her due to her comment.

"Apologies, I meant nothing by it."

[Mirby]

"No I was just gonna say why don't you come here and make it more colorful," Talyn replied with a chuckle. "Moot point now that you're here though, I suppose."

[Blue Valkyrie]

Reva chuckles at Serah's reaction "It's been so long since Zepter vanished into the fog that it's hard to tell how true any of these legends really are, I'm sure it's just a story meant to scare kids and nothing more."  Reva pauses "Then again no one that goes into the fog ever comes back so...who knows?"

Reva nods to Luna "Name is Reva, you heading into the fog too?"

[Sakura Leic]

"Yes...that's true." Sarah said looking down.

[Blue Valkyrie]

"You looking for long lost treasure too?" Reva tilts her head at Serah

[Sakura Leic]

"No I'm not." Sarah shook her head "I'm looking for my parents."

[Blue Valkyrie]

"Oh s-sorry." Reva looks down a bit realizing how insensitive her last comment was. "So when did they head in?"

[Sakura Leic]

"When I was a small child I'm afraid. I know the chances of them being alive are very slim, but I must know if they perished or if they are somehow trapped there." Sarah sighed.  "But I know I can't do it alone, I'm not nearly strong enough, my magic is nowhere that of the masters even though my swordsmanship is quite powerful I can only go so far with a sword."

[Mirby]

Talyn quickly unsheathed her blades and rested them on the table in front of her. "Well you're not the only one with blades, and I'm not usually one to toot my own horn, but I'm not too shabby with these myself." Then just as quickly as she had revealed them, she sheathed them away once more.

[Blue Valkyrie]

"Well If we are all heading into the fog anyway why not team up?" Reva leans forward resting her elbows on the table.

[Sakura Leic]

"Yes that would probably be wise." Sarah nodded.

[Protoman Blues]

"I love a good party!" Prospero Blues remarked. "And yes, I mean both a festive party and a group of teammates kind of party! I'm in as well! My sorcery should aide us in Zepter!"

[Mirby]

"Though what are we to do about healing?" Talyn pondered. "It seems most of us are geared for war..."
