Got some sketches.  Practicing with character likenesses.  I find Luke's likeness a bit easier to nail down than Han's, though I still need to iron out all the kinks.



Luke didn't turn out too bad.  Some issues with the mouth and jawline, but I'll hammer those out in other images.



Han turned out awful.  The only thing that's good about this image is the linework.  I referenced from a tiny Indiana Jones image and three photos of Han.  It still fell flat.



This one turned out a bit better.  Referenced from an Adam Hughes rendition and two photos of Han.  His trollface amuses me.  He still needs considerable work before he gets to a point where I'll be satisfied.

Luke looks really nice, though yeah, Han really needs quite a bit of work.
Han's trollface is hilarious though.

I was drawing the Joker for some variety and he ended up looking like some bizarre caricature of Vincent Price, so I just went with it.



While drawing Batman, I noticed how he somewhat resembled Daredevil, so I altered the sketch to be Daredevil.  Just for the hell of it.

Maybe it's because the way he was designed, and how the bat is often associated with the devil.

This one's been sitting on my to-do list for a while, and I was working on it off and on.  Thanks to glitchy Internet last night, I was able to sit down and get some work done on it, and then I finished it a few minutes ago.

She's a psychiatrist whose look was based off of Emma Watson.  She's single.

I added a surface blur to her face and neck to blend the shading a bit better, and redid the gradient.

Also, her shirt seems wet to me.

Then again, you're trying to make a living of it, so it should be no surprise you're just going to keep getting better and better at it.

I don't know, the facial proportions feel a little off...

EDIT: On messing around a bit in paint.net, I think the nose and eyes are maybe a centimeter too low?

Eh... I like her the way she is.  I didn't intend to draw Emma Watson, only model a character's looks after her.  My reference photo of Emma was clearly too young, so I aged her a bit.

First time drawing Threepio and Artoo since, well... since ever.  And I must have been feeling ambitious, as the linework is entirely ink.
