Hoo boy, it's been a while... I have a very limited amount of time (at the library currently), but I have some things to post. Hopefully by next week, Verizon will get their act in gear and I'll have the net.

Anywho, onto the pics...

Just a drapery and foreshortening exercise that I felt like colouring in.

"...How the hell did dirt get on the inside of the scope?"

And now, the piece de resistance...

Two or three days of pencil and inkwork, followed by two days of colouring.

I figured I'd post the inked version of After the Raid, as the colours hide alotta the stippling I did.

It's been an age since I've drawn Dengar. Just a basic design sketch and head study.

And I think the last time I drew Bossk was way back in seventh grade. I like how the shading turned out on his head. The rest of him, though, not so much.

Time for a sketch dump since I had a chance to scan a bunch of stuff today!

Just a musculature study using the pose off my Speed Racer shirt. Yay, drawing with a reference that is upside down...

These two were drawn late at night, hence why the one on the left has a huge head. They were mostly costume designs, some musculature, and linework exercises.

Ah, the ladies... The one on the left was a facial study for the girl in After the Raid. The one on the right used to have bare boobies, but I covered them up in case these end up going with me to a possible artist-in-residence stint. Gotta keep some sketches PG-13 at least.

Another foreshortening exercise, with the proper way to hold a gun, so for future reference Zuckuss won't be wondering how dirt got in the inside of the scope.

That's it for now til I go on another scanning spree.

Nah, just a woman with a similar facial build. She was originally modeled after Bridgitte Kahn.

Newspaper and duck tape, yep. The teeth are also newspaper and duck tape and were individually set. We still have quite a bit of work to do on this.

Just some musculature studies today. I'm concentrating more on the Xenomorph costume lately, rather than cranking out sketches. I have a two-week time limit to build this thing.

Anywho, the sketches.

Got a lil bit more done on the Xenomorph today as well. The torso can now hold its shape while I work on it and I started on the sternum detailing. I plan to tackle a problem with the head tomorrow.

He is made entirely outta newspaper and duck tape. No expensive materials here, folks.
