Hierophant continued to watch, feeling helpless that he was letting this happen while he continues to nurture the good energy with his Regen abilities. Though he regrets the idea, he attempts to get a glimpse at any other Pokemon that were in the area, though the effort was somewhat hampered due to the sun-shaped window only showing what the physical body was currently seeing.

After strolling through most of the city, Merrick decides to stop by the Pokemart to get some more items for their next trip. Synthis follows after him, being just as vigilant of the surrounding pollen as his human companion, though more nervous due to the lack of any draping scarfs or capes that were small enough to fit his quadrupedal structure.

Merrick could continue using what little white magic he gained from the Hierophant card, as well as some of the many wands that were scattered within his magical duffel bag. But he knew some injuries and enhancements require more than a wave and a shout to clear up.

Arthur stared at the Pokeball Joe was looking at and wondered if it was the friend they were talking about. He wanted to see him but with the conversation he heard the young Chespin knew it would probably be a better idea to wait until later to make friends with him.

Still asleep, Runaway shuddered as the Zoroark's memories began invading whatever dreams he was having. He had seen so many, since they all were unlocked at once, and now his sleeping brain had begun to sort through them. All of them.

As expected, both Rattata began to sneeze at the Powder. Dr. Wily II continued to observe as the Powder slowly settled to the bottom of the boxes. When the boxes finally looked clear, the Rattata with the old batch of Mind Powder was still sneezing, but the other Rattata had large soulless eyes...

"I see now... The batch that darn Alakazam was only able to affect Grass-type Pokemon due to missing components FROM Grass-types... With my latest batch... Yessss... Testing!"

Dr. Wily II tried to contact one of the spies in Verdanturf, however, reports coming in were saying that the hay fever season had past. Dr. Wily II cursed at his luck... Until he remembered a small town near Mt. Chimney...

(In case you are wondering, the small town is Fallarbor Town. Given volcanic ash from Mt. Chimney occasionally falls onto the town, it makes for another perfect cover for Powder testing.

After a while, more details were brought to light as Runaway dreamt through a distorted version of the Zoroark's memories, many of them starting to merge with his own. As the dreams intensified, he started to show it with twitching, some kicking, and whimpering.

Trak reached over and put a hand on his shoulder. "Shh... You're okay..."

Arthur wriggled out of Sakura's arms ran over to the seat that Runaway was sitting in and mimicked Trak's movements.

"Chespin...." Arthur said softly.

"That Chespin may be an annoyance at times, but he does have a heart of gold." Xuangzang thought.

(He's not too emotionally fragile, though it might freak him out a bit. He's seen what's happened to the Zoroark and he's seen some of Twoey's memories, so he's well aware that people do mean things.)

The dreams continued and culminated in the same imagery that woke him before; the silhouette, the cackle, and the saw. Runaway jolted upright, panting. He looked at Trak, threw his arms around her, and buried his face in her chest.

Trak rubbed his back. "Ssh... it's okay... just a bad dream..."

Twoey nodded. "Now that that Zoroark's memories are unlocked, I'd hate to imagine what he's dreaming about..."

"I'm all for that," Trak stood, shouldered her bag, and helped Runaway out of bed. "Up and at 'em, let's go get something to eat."

Runaway stood there for a moment, looking around. He was still a bit disoriented, but the feeling faded quickly once he got his bearings.

"Sounds like Arthur is hungry." Sakura laughed.

"I think he's the type that's always hungry." Xuangzang stated.

"Chespin." Arthur smiled without a care in the world.

Apprentice contemplates joining them, but considering how cranky Jeff can get if he was left to sneeze on his own, he decides it was probably best to head back and check up on him before worrying about his and Pixie's own health.

Without much word, he takes another sniff of his stick-sturdy rose and makes his way back to where Jeff had conked himself out at.
