Someone was discussing GBA games over on another site, so I suddenly found myself listening to this ol' underrated gem

The GBA soundtrack was actually done by David Wise, so you know it's got some good stuff.
Also I never realized how much of a sucker I am for more ambient-ish tracks.

Wait, hold on. The GBA version of DKC3 had a completely different OST?

Despite the fact that the track you posted was awesome, why did they replace the OST?...

Because the GBA's sound system couldn't handle it I guess. Which is odd since they did rearrangements of the original tracks for the first two ports. Though, DKC3's original tracks do seem to maybe be a bit heavier on bass compared to the first two
