Man at Arms - Fantasy Weapons Come To Life

Are you the type of person that loves the history that goes into a weapon? Be it a blade, a gun, a bow, etc., I find that the backstory & history of a weapon is just as fascinating as the character wielding it. My personal favorite weapon of all time is the Sword of Omens from Thundercats. With all the movie props and custom builds of weapons from our best fantasy stories, I have yet to see a perfect representation of my favorite sword. There have been attempts, but none have come close to matching the sheer elegance, beauty, and design of the sword from the cartoon.

Until now...

In my usual yearly search to see if a perfected prop had been made of the Sword of Omens, I came across this YouTube channel and found...well I found it. There it is, in all its Thunderian glory. The blade I have been longing to own since I first laid eyes upon it some 25 years ago. Unfortunately, I'm almost positive this is not for sale. One day.

I am so happy I found this channel though. The time, effort, and love that went into making it left me speechless. True craftsmanship is an art in itself, especially blacksmithing. What's more is that this man has made more weapons from the myths and legends we nerds have grown up with over our lives. I urge you to give this channel a look.

It also begs the question; what sword would you like him to make?

Well obviously the Master sword, but really any Hylian sword I would like to see.

EDIT: Okay there's already a Master Sword.  I guess my next choice since he seems to have also made Cloud's Buster Sword I'd have to say Ragna the Bloodedge's sword. Maybe Sol Bad Guy's square sword too.

I found Man at Arm through the YouTube app on my Xbox/Wii under Gaming and saw the episode where Link's Master Sword was being forged. I was speechless. It was a quality piece of work. Looked authentic and it was sharp as a razor. I was really impressed how the Sword of Omens, Cloud's Buster Sword, and recently (from what I saw a few days ago) Leona's Zineth Blade from League of Legends turned out too. Even one of the devs behind League of Legends was amazed by the craftsmanship of the Zineth Blade.

I'd love to see Grolla's Grollschwert from RosenkreuzStilette Freudenstachel, Alucard's sword from SOTN, and Dante's Alastor from DMC1 to name a few get de-fictionalized by this guy.

The Fate series, the ones on the right are Archer's swords but I don't know the ones on the left since I never got that deep into it.

Meta Knight's sword was a possibility on his "to do" list that I saw at the end of the video featuring Ichigo's Zangetsu Sword video, along with Sokka's Space Sword, Thor's Hammer, and the Green Ranger's Dragon Dagger.
