I know some people out there are already going "OH NO, UNREAL ENGINE, DOOOOMED", but I think these guys might be able to circumvent that same-ness feeling a lot of UE3 games have, so long as they don't leave the framerate at default as a base guideline. Also seems like the gameplay's certainly going to be familiar, tight jump'an'shoot.

I like how people are already complaining that the game isn't 2D sprites, because they obviously don't realize what the Unreal engine can actually do.

I don't care if it's 2D or 3D, but if the 3D looks that good I think I would like that better.

The thing is, not to sound like I'm against it being done in 3D, depending on how good the graphics are, it could mean that people who are going to play this on their computers might have to get a good video card and/or processor to run high-end graphics. But if they're planning on getting it on consoles, then it doesn`t even matter since we already got some games from this generation that uses Unreal Engine 3, so it'll be nothing that PS3 and 360 can't handle although PS4 and Xboned could run Mighy No. 9 at full 60 frames per second.

Yeah I guess that would be a problem, I'm sure by 2015 they'll figure out how to accommodate that.

Yes! We heard the feedback from our community, and at this level, we would be thrilled to fulfill this popular wish -- to add an all-new single-player level, including a boss fight, where you can play as Mighty No. 9's heroine, Call! We agree it would be a fun addition and a great way to mix up the action, so fingers crossed we can make it this far!

And again, The paypal is going to continue afterwards so they'll be able to keep putting money towards stretch goals this way.

Did they actually state anywhere that post-campaign PayPal goes towards stretch goals? It's why I asked earlier if anyone knew whether the stretch goals were considered funded or <i>predicted to be</i> funded (via future sales).

Because otherwise, their urgency wouldn't actually be, well, urgent:

Once the kickstarter ends those will become available, same with Shantae's kickstarter I believe.

Those stretch goals must be being fulfilled by Paypal along the side, because it's been bugging me why they keep 'predicting' the money curve and saying things were passed before they are. Either way, eight or so hours left on the base Kickstarter itself.
