After receiving his orders from Dr. Doom II, AFRODOK floated over to his own mini-lab, the table lined with various chemicals and gadgetry.

*in a high helium voice* "So some kind of an aging ray gun ehh? Such a simple device that requires my AFRO genius!? If it wasn't because Dr. Doom II had the only source of shrooms in this pitiful city... I WOULD CONQUER THIS CITY MYSELF!!"

Eyeing the tube of shrooms on his table, he hovered over and swiped the tube, letting one drop into his afro. After a few seconds, the afro exploded in volume.

*in a high helium voice* "Time to get to work!!"

Hawkeyeni stepped away from the window back to the coffee machine, since the coffee was finished filtering. He took out the jug and started to drink straight from it while looking around the room.

This place sure is in good shape. I wonder where the money for all this come from... Hawkeyeni thought to himself as he took another sip. I hope these guys are on the right side of things, I don't particularly feel like fighting any more than I have to during my supposed relaxation time.

Seeing Spider-Blues heading for the door, Hierophant steps out of the way so as not to get into his way as he was heading into the hallway. Hearing about wanting to find a chemistry section, he decides to stick around and wait until he was fully out the door before acting as his escort to where the lab was located.

I wonder what Grumpy and the others are up to. Storm thought to himself as he tinkered with his Fantastic Communicator Watch.

He pressed a series of buttons on the communicator to get in touch with his teammates, but the connection seemed to be extremely weak.

"Come on, you can't be serious!" Storm tapped on the watch, shook it and even held it close to window in an attempt to get a stronger signal. He was beginning to suspect that the ship was somehow interfering with the watch's reception.

"Hey, Reed! Reed?" He repeated his name over and over until he heard a faint voice, covered in static sound.

Ar.... are you.... where.... A...... are.... happening...... Is all the words he could make out before the signal finally died.

"Terrific." Storm said bluntly.

Hajime was wandering through the halls when he noticed Arche having some problems contacting someone through his watch.

There shouldn't be any frequency problems within the ship as it was designed to work with any wireless transmitter. Believing it was an energy problem, he pokes the watch, feeding it enough Force Metal energy to boost its signal and clear up the snowstorm hampering the communication.

Spider-Blues spotted Hajime walking through the hall and stopped him.

"Hey there um....flying dragon private? Lieutenant? General Large Flappywings? Well whatever your title is, I was wondering if you had a lab on board. I need to make some webbing in case Fox-Boy comes back with another portal to hell. Not to mention, chicks dig the webbing if you know what I mean? Eh....EH...." Spider-Blues quipped with him.

Hajime looks over to Spider-Blues, about to say something when Hierophant appeared beside him, his hands behind his back.

"I can show you where the lab is," he said, scratching the back of his head almost sheepishly at his rudeness cutting in unexpectedly, "I don't mean to pry, but Hajime does seem to be a bit preoccupied with fixing your friend's equipment at the moment."

He then heads over to the elevator and steps inside, waiting for Spider-Blues to follow after him.

"I'd prefer if you either call me Merrick or Hierophant," he mutters while still rubbing the back of his head before reaching over and pressing the "S" button on the elevator, "As for our purpose, let's just say we pass around these parts, looking for heroes who want a quick place to rest and restock on their supplies."

the door closes behind Spider-Blues as a flash of light blinds them a few seconds before fading. the door opens to reveal another line of doors, only this time it was labeled with different kinds of labs.

"The chem lab should be two doors to the left and on the other side of the elevator. It should have everything you need to make those web materials you use."

More importantly, what kind of organization just flies around the city in a hovering dragon ship, has a crew with weird names, and allows heroes to just rest & relax free of charge like this? Where does your funding even come from? Are you a government agency? This doesn't make any sort of sense." Spider-Blues asked.

"I'll use your free supplies for now, as chemicals are expensive and I'm not a millionaire, but I want answers buddy!"

You wouldn't think that way if you were living in Japan! Justice shouts from within Hierophant's conscience, almost causing him to flinch from surprise.

He mumbles a sheepish chuckle as he stands straight and press his hands behind his back, sandwiching Justice between them in an unseen attempt to shut her up, "Anyway, Mr. Suzuki's taking the ship back to base right now to refuel after a long day's travel. So if you don't mind sticking around you might get a general idea of where we're getting out funding."
