Once we return I'll introduce what the party can do to build up the community.

Whereabouts is the Mana-Verse currently at? Does anybody have a good idea as to how to introduce my character?

The party is currently hunting for the six shards of the Primal Crysral after the main antagonist Mar was released from it by Albert (WilyII), and Mar's two followers Mask and Doll Master.

They managed to reclaim one of the shards-three are located around the area of the party's current location, a city called Haven's Rock made up of all sorts of races. So having a character there is okay and a good point to introduce one's self. Only thing I ask is to not make a massive list of NPC characters to go with what ever your backstory is, at this time the main villains are all set and it's easier for me to keep things on track. Obviously having some NPCs related to your character is fine but for the time being no more non-player characters in the main party.

With a few players not being as active or unable to due to real life stuff it's a good time to join in.

Alright, so where are our heroes now? Or are they on their way somewhere I can hop in with them along the way? I'm mostly trying to devise what my entrance will be.

I'm also trying to finalize whether I want it to be a femboy or just a lolita girl, as I'm still basing it off of that unused OC my buddy and I drew.

Or I continue the theme of randomness and make her a Schrodinger's Cat... let it be a mystery and everyone assumes she's a girl until someone finally checks, and I flip a coin.

My only real worry is how uncomfortable others might be about having some cute boy thrust in... not everybody likes cute boys in semi-skimpy outfits...

Party is about to head to the inn so you might be staying there too? As for theme as long as it doesn't clash with the fantasy world theme of the whole RP you can be what ever you like, if something clashed with the established lore I'll bring it up. =)

Alright, maybe I can walk up to them claiming I overheard their conversation earlier about their epic quest?

Or simply meet them while in the inn and sorta learn about the quest that way? Might be a more natural way.

I guess I'll wait until everybody makes it to the inn first before I post, I guess. I just have to figure out her approach. The only way I could see this character approaching the party is if she assumes they're adventurers, and she's looking for a party.

As for backstory, I actually didn't have a lot thought up in advance. Though one idea I have to go off of is a sort of nod to Samurai Champloo, where she introduces herself as a caster looking for a wizard who smells like daisies.

Also, I feel like making it so she learns to gain more control over her magic, which I've decided is made so "random" through her Band of Chaos, a trinket that unlocks an unfathomable array of spells no spellcaster could possibly remember all at once, all managed by being chosen at random. I think an improvement she will make down the line is sort of an attempt to put the spells into "categories" in order to get better use out of the spells she needs while still having some RNG to deal with.

Well the story deals with an ancient civilization that Aya was created by who mastered magic, so I'm sure something relevant to that will pop up in story. And yeah might be best, I'll push forward to the inn regardless of who hasn't posted by then.
