Yeah, I'm definitely staying in "media blackout" mode until I get this game in my hands. I imagine the punch effect will be huge for me if I do so.

I CAME.

That is all.  ;)

Ephidiel

I'm going to have trouble picking which character to use first...

kisuke looks awesome to play as, but momohime's a girl so I kind of want to play as her....

You know what pisses me off?

THis game's release is too far away.

Crap.
Here's a playlist of the game, available in HD.

Vixy, when will you stream this?

VixyNyan

When I get it in the mail. This is the slowest snail mail ever... >o<

I am extremely looking forward to this game. All I saw was a few trailers and screens and decided that this was the game for me. I have been avoiding the streams though, I don't want much spoiled for me. I am assuming there is no NA release date other than TBA 2009? I know that the release date in Europe is set or Q2 2010 which is extremely lame.

Marnic

I didn't want to spoil anything for this game, even so I had to check this thread.
I hope the story of this game is as good as the one found in Odin Sphere, the ending was too beautiful in that game along with most of the stuff in it.

There seems to be a whole lot more platforming and fast paced action in this one. It's probably going to be as enjoyable as Odin Sphere, with a well developed cast of characters.
The only thing that was sort of a turn-off on my end would probably be the japanese setting but fighting japanese demons will still be really cool, so I'm all for it.
Still unsure if the setting will beat the scandinavic mythology setting in Odin Sphere.

Gonna be a pleasure to play through.

Don't worry, it's japanese mythology.  Just think of the mythology awareness like Atlus and their awesome SMT series.

And don't corrode your mind w/ the average pathetic mindsets w/ the generalization of genres to practically anything.  That's no way to enjoy anything.

STM

Nintendo's been mum about it. We just know it's coming sometime Fall 2009. Expect it to be part of their E3 showing unless they decide to clog it all up with number masturbation and some other crap.

Acid

I have a feeling this year's E3 will be better than E3 '08.

I mean... it would be hard to get worse than last year.

Let's be optimistic.
