This seems to improve heavily upon Odin Sphere. Not graphically, but gameplay wise.

Battles are much faster, and animations swifter. And the areas wer improved too. Instead of loosely connected, ring-shaped arenas you actually have maps to stretch from relevant point A to relevant point B. Which is closer to what Princess Crown did.

I'm looking forward to this.

At the start, you do get to pick two different styles, Action Mode (hack and slash) or RPG Mode (level up).
They work a bit differently from each other, but the core game mechanism is the same for both.

I think I won't mind playing this game with japanese voices. Just because that would fit the overall mood so well.

The variety would certainly increase the sale's rate.
And I agree with acid, japanese voices would make the overall style of the game the perfect setting!
