Yep... this looks like a promising little title. Although... I do have this horrible suspicion it'll be overlooked by everyone else, not unlike Okami.

I dunno man, 2D, samurais, demon slaying and color all seem to be viable areas in this current gaming era. Hopefully, it'll become a long toothed success for Vanillaware as opposed to selling a massive quantity right from the start then crashing badly later on.

EDIT - Also, gaming list I see. Looks like I'm not the only one budgeting the hell out of this year gaming wise.

Well, right now it's pretty small. This, Mario and Luigi made contendership because of Fawful, and seemingly Tales of the World 2. The rest of the year seems a bit quiet, what with Perfect Prosecutor quiet, maybe some Star Force 3, just to send the series off to hell, quietly sneaking in sometime in the summer. Of course, there's always E3 and Nintendo's seeming bag of goodies they're going to unload. Here's hoping they live up to that word, although I have a feeling one title going to be revealed may be Mario and Sonic at the Winter Games.

See, I'm torn.

On one hand, the game coming out in Japan on April, means that I could be playing this game RIGHT AFTER I soak up MadWorld awesomeness. That'd be nice.

But on the other hand, I wonder if I should be doing my part to support the English localization. Make sure my voice is heard to support the cause of 2D gaming in the West.

As always, the rule of thumb is not to trust the supposed dates listed on various retailer sites, as they may not know what they talk about.

It would certainly make sense to release it during that time frame (especially during the "Summer Drought"), but who knows...

Japan is almost always strict and on-spot with their dates.
