"Son of a [sonic slicer]" were the exact words that came to my mind when I found out the Escape key in the PC port of Final Fantasy XIII that my brother apparently pirated terminates the game. It's 2014, why the [tornado fang] would you program Esc to terminate your game at this point in time?! Not even Metal Gear Solid 1's PC port did this.

1. PC games nowadays, or at least the ones I've played, don't close out of a game I'm playing by simply pressing Esc. If I wanted wanted to end a game without trudging though menus, I'd assume Alt+F4 would do that for me. This is more of muscle memory kind of thing.

2. I've haven't began to play Final Fantasy XIII, I was checking options menu to see what the keyboard controls, assumed that Esc would be "cancel" like other PC games until I found this out.

Esc also closes FNaF, which threw me because I wasn't expecting it to do that.

I think it was either the second stage or the running train boss fight theme.  Of course the speak easy level is probably my favorite theme.
