Valleyfair's a Minnesota theme park. So its in a neighboring state.

They've got so much more stuff now. They got a whole new water park that I'd absolutely love to check out, along with more coasters.

I think I went there when they had the waterpark but I can't remember exactly.

I think it was 2011 when we went to Pennsylvania.

The Boardwalk Water Park has been around for quite a while, since at least 08, if I recall. I'd need to double-check on that. They've added more since then.

They've also updated the Chocolate Factory ride. Haven't been on that in ages. It's worth it for access to the company store.

Tell me about it. I'm standing at the bus stop with little to no shade available. Brought a water bottle with ice in it, and within 3 minutes, it melted.

Ugh, I hope my classroom is air-conditioned, 'cause I have to stay there for 4 hours.

Just tried a bowl of banana cream Cream of Wheat. I liked it. It was very banana.

And the temperature cooled down considerably here since those storms went through.

I found the hand drawing that I made for class! Ironically, I created a web-shooting gesture, like Quickie did.

Looking at it now, I realize the palm came out a little too large and the two fingers don't drop down enough, but I'm still pretty proud of it. Especially the left gesture.

Hands are very difficult to draw. I still have problems with certain poses and angles and will grab a reference for them.

I just used my own hand for that. Took me countless tries to get the left gesture the way I wanted it.

I swear, they're not as wrinkly as that drawing may have you believe. I simply tried to emphasize the creases of the skin.

I often use my own hand for reference. It's a very handy reference!

It's when I can't contort my arm to the angle that I want that I'll go look for a reference.

But yeah, emphasizing creases and wrinkles does make our hands look old.

I'm going to do some scanning soon, so perhaps I'll throw some hand sketches into the mix.
