Jesus [tornado fang], the Refurbished Wii U is delayed AGAIN. There's no reason to be waiting for nearly a month now. Get your [parasitic bomb] together, Nintendo.

Well, "nearly a month" is a bit of an exaggeration. It feels like forever.

I ordered it on the 20th. They said they would ship on the 23rd. When that day came, Nintendo claimed there was a delay, and postponed it for next week. It's now the next week, and now they state that we'll have to wait longer once again.

That's life sometimes. I had at least three delays on something I ordered once.

And I've had times where I was promised something at one point in time only to have it turn up a week later because of weather related bullshit.

You'll get used to it. You won't enjoy it but you'll get used to it.

Yeah... and to top it off, I have my sealed copy of Mario Kart 8 staring me in the face, begging to be played.

Welp, at least I have Shovel Knight and AA5 to keep me company in the meantime.

I checked my order yesterday, and it was still marked as "processing".

Huh, well, I'm definitely not complaining, either way!

I had an order I wasn't expecting till tomorrow arrive today as well.

Now I own a bunch of tiny Sailor Moon figures, too bad I pretty much got the wrong variations on each of them! (I got Tuxedo Mask... Sans Mask.)
And the tracking still says its in Saint Paul. Guess not.

Trying to decide who I'll start raising next.  Susan was my catcher, until I decided to teach Hypno Hypnosis and use him, because he has the HP and Defense to sit there and take hits while I chuck Balls.  Once Susan's done, I may put Karohalva the All Speed Abra on the team for a while.  Or, I could put Xizor the Scizor on the team. I may do that and start working on Team Black Sun.

Guri the Ninetales will get a spot once Cagli's done leveling.  She's nearing 90, so it won't be too long.  Hell, I'll also be able to swap out Mandrake in about fifteen levels.

Still need to decide who else will go on Team Black Sun.  I got Xizor, Guri, Mandrake is drafted... Maybe I'll finally raise up a Malamar...

Went out and caught another Inkay in Azure Bay, named it Cthulhu, and hit the Grind Chateau to level him, then figured out the evolution method.  I had to give him a Rare Candy while holding the 3DS upside-down.  I knew that he evolved by flipping the thing, but he leveled during battle and my 3DS-flipping wasn't timed right.

Now I have a Malamar named Cthulhu.  Debating on putting him on Team Black Sun.  I'm planning to put Nyalarthotep the Gengar on it.

Okay, so I booted up the Wii U, finished the initial set-up and waited for the actual HOME screen to start up... only to receive a black screen with an error code scrawled across it.

I searched the Nintendo support forums for a solution to that particular error code. No dice. I called customer service, where a representative attempted to help me through the issue. No dice.

So, he suggested I send the console back to Nintendo for repair.

At least the warranty's good so they'll repair/replace it free of charge. But still bad luck. And I had heard such good things. And have had good fortune with their refurb wiimotes.

I'm going to be eating some pizza my mom got from Sprouts, a place that's kind of like a Trader Joes.

Heh, wouldn't matter to me, as I hate beans.

I actually kind of like beans as long as they aren't watery and I am not fond of refried beans either.  I also have to eat my abuela's black beans separate from the rice, when they're together I just don't like it.  However I also use the rice as a sort of 'dipping sauce' for her croquettas.
