Anyway, just finished watching The Garden of Words.

I'm sad to say that the movie was a disappointment, despite the visuals and Shinkai's track record.

It wasn't terrible, but the plot was pretty boring for the most part. The voice acting was good, especially the emotional performances towards the ending, but overall, the only exceptional thing worth mentioning are the visuals.

Its also just overall a shitty place to be if you like anything that's not outdoors-y or sports. Its too hot in the Summer and too cold in the Winter, its got some nice scenery and the air's clean but that's all I can really say that's positive.
