Well the Sonic Zone Remix Compo is about to have its second installment (the first was in 2012) over on OCR, and that involves a mixing stage and a voting stage, so I think I'm just riffing on that basic idea of mixing then voting. Which works well when you're blending things!

So, I told him.

Very bluntly.

I think the idea is absurd and it's the most asinine and downright ridiculous thing I have ever heard from him, and I said that he might as well cut all pretenses and run for President.  I'm just saying, if you're going to do this, just go all in.  I also listed off every single reason why I think the idea is stupid as hell and why he's not qualified whatsoever.

He agreed with me.

Also back in my room on the inflatable mattress.  It feels weird, but I think I'll sleep on the mattresses from my brother's bed tomorrow.  Then things should get back to normal when the room is painted, the wooden floors get installed and I get a fan back.  Then we'll get other stuff for the room as the months go by, the priority being a dresser.  Also my cousin's husband will also make the closet organizer because he knows how to do that.

Seriously UPS missed out when they treated him like [parasitic bomb].

Well the inflatable mattress isn't too bad, but it still feels weird. 

Also my dad has sciatica, it hurts like a [sonic slicer] and he's been limping because of it.  Poor guy.

Sciatica sucks.  I have it, mainly from two back surgeries that irritated the nerve.  It sucks when it flares up, but it's not that bad.  Sleeping with a pillow under your knees helps to take pressure off the nerve when it becomes inflamed.

I wonder if eating something will help me feel better.  Perhaps I should have some soup.

One of the things that can aggravate sciatica is carrying a bulky wallet in your back pocket.  When you sit on that wallet, it puts pressure on the nerve and causes it to become inflamed.  This is a very common cause of sciatica in men.  Otherwise, it's usually caused by injury.  Deformity can also cause irritation in the nerve root.
