The way I see it, if something is talked about a lot, there must be a reason. I'm not going to curse something because it captured people's attention.

I find it so weird that my dad cares about some missing hubcap on my brother's car when his truck looks like a piece of crap on the inside.  I mean there's coke stains everywhere, the fabric is torn all over the place, I don't think he can't put the back seat down, he can't fix the AC, and overall it's pretty much an old heap of junk that he's not going to replace without many arguements due to his pack rat tendencies.

And yet when my brother' car has a missing hub cap he says that his car shouldn't look like that and makes a big deal about it every time my brother visits, I really don't understand my dad's priorities, which isn't new.

Stupid smoke alarm is still squeaking.  Not much I can do about it because I can't quite reach it and I don't have a battery for it.  Also, it's one of those things that I need to call maintenance about.
