... Anyway, I watched Titantic on Netflix, last week. First time seeing it.

It was pretty amazing, like many have said. I can't believe something of that scale was done in the '90s. I'll try to buy it when I get the chance.

I hate, hate, hate getting into a religious debate with an atheist who doesn't do any damn research!  I finally shut him up when he started going on about Islam (again), claiming that the Quran has this or that in it.  It didn't seem to matter that I had read it years back, he still claimed I was wrong.  So, I said, "have you ever read the Quran?"

"No, but--"

"READ IT."

You can't be an authority on something that you haven't even read.  And when all your sources are biased against religion to begin with, then your view is harshly skewed.  Don't get into religious debates with me when you have an almost allergenic aversion to religion and erroneously think that agnosticism is akin to atheism (it's not)!

I don't mind atheists.  I'm agnostic, but I'm not an atheist.  When I have an atheist telling me that I'm "almost there," it's irritating.  I'm not "almost there."  I believe in something, I just don't know what that something is.  I'm not about to cast aside my tenuous beliefs, either.  There are too many aspects of science that have me leaning more and more toward the existence of a higher power than otherwise, so science can't be used as an argument for atheism.  Particularly quantum physics.  The deeper you delve into that, the more you start to wonder.

I am just sick and tired of these stupid and pointless religious debates with someone who won't even bother to do any bloody research and bases their entire opinion on the biased propaganda of others who either skew the facts to fit their beliefs, or won't do the goddamn research, either!  It's the fanatics, extremists, and zealots who make a religion bad, not the religion itself! [/rant]

Ugh I had something similar happen to me in Jr. High about me not being Christian and people thinking I'm aetheist.  I mean I know there's something out there but I don't feel that it wants to be worshipped.  But that's just me.

So I'm rewatching my favorite episodes of Sky Cake Girl (Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo), you know, the show where Lelouch becomes a space colony.

Despite how stupid some things are in this show, I can't help but like it. Like it so much.
