So, someone I knew from high school had their Facebook account hacked, and I can guess how.  They were stupid enough to click on one of those "free iPad!" scam links, so now their account is hacked and they're posting weird messages with random Tumblr links in them.

Thus, I removed them from my friends list.

The moral of this story is:  If you're stupid enough to fall for an obvious scam, you deserve what you get.  And I unfriend you.

Or they were really avid about tumblr, which is reason enough to remove someone.

It was the same message over and over again, only the random Tumblr link changed.  First, it was a series of posts about a "free iPad" and those random Tumblr links.  Then, it was a series of posts about "if you people don't stop posting about me, I'll delete my account!" and random Tumblr links.  Some people fell for it.  It screamed "hacked profile" to me, so I unfriended her and changed my password.

Being avid about Tumblr or Reddit is reason enough to unfriend anybody.

Being a dope and clicking those free "insert thing here" bullshit ads, or not having adblock, or using Internet Explorer where its not required or the only thing installed, is reason to smack somebody upside the head

My YT channel was removed a while ago for uploading Sankarea episodes.

What sucked even more is that there were other people uploading Sankarea episodes, only not in HD like I did. And they never seemed to get in trouble for that [parasitic bomb].
