Thank god I'm getting out of work early today, I can barely stay awake since I fell asleep at 1:30 and woke up at 5:00 for some stupid reason.  However I keep on getting RP ideas during work for some reason that I want to implement.

My niece's birthday party is in full swing.  I'm now looking for escapes.  Too many kids, and I've already gotten art requests, mainly in the form of "draw something!"

I'm not a machine.  I'd prefer if you ask nicely, rather than order me around.

Yep, and I told them plainly that that's not how you make a request.  And then I discussed my rates and the requests stopped cold.

Everything stops cold when I start listing my commission rates.

I guess that's one way to solve that.

 I would have said maybe draw something really simple like bunnies, puppies, kitties and flowers, but kids today need to learn they can't get what they want all the time.  I think you did the right thing.

I may draw something later, but I was in the middle of dinner when they started with the requests.  So, I also had the excuse of eating.  Now, they're occupying themselves.  Last I checked, the boys are playing around with sticks and Nerf guns, and the girls decided to play "hospital."

I'm going to go gather kindling for the campfire.

Yeah that makes sense, not a good idea to ask someone who has an empty stomach.  Also never really played those pretend games, then again I wasn't a 'normal' kid anyway.

The most 'Pretend' I ever did was in my head. Then again I didn't have many friends to hang out with so that probably didn't help.

Yeah that was exact same thing with me 100%, especially the barely any friends part in grade school.

Well problem is the in my head stuff still goes on. When I'm bored I just... think of stuff and play out a thing in my head. Sometimes its fairly tame or something, sometimes I lose track and try to go back, only to lose the entire thought. Sometimes its just wacky, or unrealistic, or directly affected by emotion and such.

You know, delusions of grandeur and what not.

Yeah I do the same with the RP and stuff though not as intense maybe.

Yeah I do that kind of stuff with the RP as well... but its mostly my mind taunting me with things that are things I want to do yet never have or never will.

So its less intense and more mean-spirited... if that's even possible. I'm pretty sure its not but whatever.

Traveling to foreign countries (Even though I went to France and England.)

Falling in love.

Hanging out with friends.

Having Superpowers or fighting some evil force or something.

You know, stuff like that.

Maybe you can plan to see other countries when you get your own place or something.

Also don't worry about that stuff and never say never, you can't predict the future after all.

I just get into these phases I guess.

Though while these dreams and delusions seem happy, they aren't. Since its a dream, I can configure anything to my liking, that of course means the kind of stories I place myself into, the people I fall in love with, all of it for this fake life that just exists in my mind. For a short amount of time I was willing to believe this mundane life was the dream, and that my dreams are the real reality. Anything to make it less... static.

Anyway, sorry. Bringing down the mood here.

Got the campfire going.  Time for me to go be social.  I was spending the time gathering kindling and protecting Mabel from being manhandled by the overzealous kids.

Now the kids are talking about something they're playing, and my niece said she doesn't want to be evil.  I said, "but, being evil is so much more fun!"
