Mabel's been hiding behind the couch since this morning, when she got me up. She was sleeping in my bed and clawing me in the back.

Cats are experts at getting people out of bed in the morning. Since the clawing didn't work, Mabel got up onto a shelf that she wasn't allowed on and knocked stuff down. That got me up, and Mabel got fed. Then, I went back to bed.

Just tried out the gray markers and blender I got. They're not brush tips, like I prefer, and they're too warm a shade, whereas I was using cooler shades. But, until I can get to an AC Moore, they'll do.

I do like the blender, though.

So, Mabel meowed at me and went to the kitchen. I gave her food. She meowed at me some more and tried to get into the cabinet where I keep her food. I top off her food with some fresh dry. She looks at it and meows some more. I dump all of that, wash out the dish, and put in fresh food.

Mabel looks at it, meows at me, then leaves to go sit in the window.

So, she just wanted to see me go through that trouble for nothing.
