Particularly not to parents who aren't hep to the Internet jive that kids these days are all about.  It took some convincing for my folks to accept online friends as being real friends, and it only happened when they started meeting people online.

Dr. Wily II

Heh, I used to have that problem with my folks... Until I was promoted here. XD

And man, I really needed that nap... Goddarn headache.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Quickman

My nap took all night.  At 4 am, I was ready to get up.  I've since cleaned my kitchen, fed Mabel, and I plan to go out for a morning walk.

Mr. Haxwell

My cat's so desperate to go out in the rain, really.

Fear me.

Police Girl

Burned some stuff on the driveway, left a stain. Got rid of it, thankfully it was pretty easy.

The day's going by very quickly from playing Dune II on the Gens Emulator.

Fear me.

My parents will never understand and likely never will.

Also, it's pretty ironic how my mom hates when I play games for long periods, yet when I boot up a really beautiful game on my PS3, she can get mesmerized by it.

Quickman

Got to love hypocritical parents.

And I succeeded in spilling my drink on my shirt for the second time today.

Perhaps I should use a straw.  Clearly, I can't drink from a cup properly.

Mr. Haxwell

I just realize I still got an unfinished moogle Patchouli to do.

Fear me.

Just to throw my 2 cents into the mix, while I agree that online friends are real friends, I do think it's important to have offline friends as well. Someone you can hang out with, go to movies & dinner with, and just chill out with. Companionship is important. I don't know what I'd do without my friends.

While true, if he can't make friends in his town and the ones he tries to make aren't real "friends" it kinda makes it moot.  I understand where you're coming from, but I had a hard time making friends, most of my friends made friends with me.

Oh no I understand that much. Unless they're real friends, then there's no point. I also understand that most people of the nerdiriffic background have trouble making friends due to being reserved, shy, etc.

Yeah it sucks most people don't understand nerds unless they are nerds, but if you have nerd friends then that's all good. 8)

It's funny, I'm almost like a closet nerd.

I don't mean that in a "disguising my true self" sort of way, but rather I'll talk to people about any subject other than games or anime; given that not many people I know are into it nearly as much as me. But when I do find someone that's really interested in those things, then it feels much more natural to start a conversation.

The non-nerd friends I have are still fun to hang out with though.

Mr. Haxwell

Damn internet is acting like [parasitic bomb]. It's randomly disconnecting, ruining any chance of watching Game Grumps today. Hope tomorrow's different.

Wow someone hit a fire hydrant in the town my grandparents live and water is spewing everywhere.

I simply don't have anyone around who is my age.

If I was 10, I'd run outside and stand underneath the water as if it was a sprinkler.

Sprinklers were the best back then

Sooo no new DBZA at the moment? :( I've seen 1-34 already (just finished 34 a few days ago), which I have to say, the ending was just DAAAAAMN...
I'm surprised Vegeta didn't kill Bulma with his Galick Gun. 8D

I never knew saiyans could shoot energy blasts through their [ray splasher]. It would be so unexpected during battles, they'd have the upper hand all the time! 8D
I simply don't have anyone around who is my age.

That's one of my problems, the people who were my age took advantage of the circumstances they were in and left the state, the only person close to my age is my uncle, and he's 5 years older than I am, and while he's a friend in a way, he's family, and he's never available anyway due to sleeping all day.

So yeah, real life friends is and probably will be zero for a very long time.

Maybe its because I'm picky or something, I've probably pushed away people who could've been legitimate friends before, probably countless times due to my personality.

Filled out an application for Publix, this time without fainting before I was able to submit.

Waiting for Ringman to drop by.  We had plans to finish reading Shadow over Innsmouth.
