Ehhh, I'm too much of a pizza snob for that to be true for me.  8D

Bad pizza is bad pizza.

Great painful limps run in my Dad's family and my Mom's has arthritis.  Oy vey.  :|

I know the feeling.  My folks both have bad knees.  Ringman and I have lousy knees.  Mine have been getting even more lousy, particularly my left, which makes this saran wrap crinkling sound when I bend it, and has had water on it twice.

...what game do you think you're playing here? Mario Kart is all about the unpredictable.

In multiplayer, fine.

In single player, I just want to race and not get uncontrollably pushed around just because the game's AI is so [tornado fang]ing scummy.

Protoman Blues

Again, what game do you think you're playing here? The AI have been ruthless since the SNES game. Trying being Koopa Troopa or Toad in the first game and constantly seeing an invincible rival Luigi heading right towards you. This is nothing new here.

xnamkcor

If you want to see annoying AI, play Test Drive Offroad Wide Open for PS2.
I'm still unsure if the AI is extremely aggressive, or just Autistic.

I've never had issues with the SNES, N64 or the GBA game.

Wii and 7 are the ones where it seems to be getting bad, the older games didn't have characters having a fit whenever they got hit, they either just spun or bounced a bit, and it didn't stack with every damn thing that hit you.

Protoman Blues

It was way worse in Wii than it is in MK7. There have been few times were even the Blue Shell can stop me, due to substantial lead I have. MK7 is much more balanced and fair than Wii or Double Dash ever were.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

So I told my mom I'm going to fail my Intro to Business Calculus class and we both agree that the way the teacher set up the class was pretty much bull [parasitic bomb].

The teacher barely knows anything about Business, Homework is pretty much worth jack all and is not collected until the Exams, there wasn't any quizzes this quarter, the bulk is on Mid Terms and Finals and the guy makes more mistakes than any other Math teacher I have.  Seriously I have difficulty with most Math and this class does not help with that.  I don't even know why I had to take this class since it barely applies to Business.

He also doesn't seem to make his own Exams.

I thought Intro To Business Calculus was buying an HP calculator.

Nope it's about Derivatives, that's pretty much what we have been doing and I didn't understand it no matter what I did.

Oh, Friday...  If it's warm enough, I may walk into town.

xnamkcor

I can play Lords of Shadow 2 at about 25 FPS and DMC4's benchmark's minimum framerate, on max settings, is 45 FPS. And on Minimum setting, the framerate minimum is 75 FPS. Nice.

Quickman

It's nearly 40 degrees!  I'm going for a walk.

Sakura Leic

I feel sad that 40 degrees there is consider warm....

It's 36 outside and the sun is shining.  Absolutely gorgeous.  I want to stay outside all day!

So, I'm currently playing Saints Row 4 and the mission I'm on is, effectively, what happens when a fanfiction writer makes one of their stories into a virtual reality simulation.

Needless to say, I'm embarrassed to listen to the dialogue because I've been on both sides of the conversation at one point or another (the frothing-at-the-mouth-excited fanboy and the confused friend that was tricked or dragged into reading the story).
My thread of Random Crap

Who loves Grape Soda? Sapph loves Grape Soda! Is it true? Is it true? Ohyesohyesohyes it's true-oo~ I do I do I do I do-oo~

Quickman

I am both intrigued and frightened.  As a fanfic writer and occasional reader of fics, I... can only imagine... the cringe...

And I need a more challenging crossword book.  I just plowed through two puzzles while eating Easy Mac.

ViperAcidZX

Playing DOOM on DOSBox kinda makes me wonder, "who was the one who discovered the WASD setup with mouse and keyboard better than the default settling?"

Quickman

I can remove the covers from my couch cushions.  Ostensibly, I can throw my couch into the wash machine.

This is a great discovery.

Playing ToS really makes me realize how much I took the ease of life additions made in the later games (retrying after losing a battle, skipping cutscenes) for granted.

Was it really too hard to add some stuff to ease the tedium of dying and going back to a previous save?

Seriously frustration isn't fun, having to sit through the same two/three cutscenes constantly isn't either.
