A lot of my friends love it but I just can't get into it.

I could animate, but it would take a very long time.  Depending on the frame rate, I'd be drawing a LOT of frames.

I hate South Park so much.

By that, I meant taking the figures and shuffling them across the screen with not much articulation.

South Park-style animation is much less time-consuming than drawing individual frames for 24 FPS.

Stop-motion is time-consuming enough.  Twelve hours straight of filming for two minutes of animation.
