Yeah it seems they're doing something with mobile phones and AR that involves catching and battling Pokemon.

I'm slightly skeptical of it myself until I get more info but it's definitely interesting. While it's a cool idea it doesn't make me go 'OMG I WANT THIS NOW, TAKE MY MONEY!' just yet. Then again I don't use my Phone for gaming so that's my bias right there.

I just really need more info about this.

EDIT: The app will be free with in app purchases.

IT'S REAL LIFE POKEMON!!!

Or at least the closest thing we might ever get to it. What this trailer is telling me is that I can walk around NYC, or walk around wherever I'm travelling to, and there will be Pokemon hiding in the bushes, or in my alleyway, or in the Hudson River, and I can battle them, capture them, and trade them on the spot. It combines all the addictive qualities of a regular Pokemon game with the sheer addictive qualities of smartphones. In-app store purchases could be a detriment, but that doesn't seem to stop people much these days.

Yes I understand that but at the same time I again don't use my phone as a gaming device.

Don't get me wrong I probably will try it but I don't know how long I would keep with it since I drop mobile game really quick.

I literally never use my phone as a gaming device. If this game does what it says it can do, I'll start for this. Especially considering that it can connect to the main game in some way.

Yeah I am certainly curious about that, though I hope there's more than just Gen 1 Pokemon. And I also hope there's a way to interact with the Pokemon like Pokemon Amie but better and more expansive.

I want a Zigzagoon, I like my Ziggys so much. And Swinubs. And Joltiks. And Umbreons. And Torchics. And Arons. And Shinxes. And Turtwigs. And Panchams. And Weaviles, the girliest Pokemon ever especially since I have a PANK one now.

Basically I think a lot of Pokemon are cute.

Hope you have a Magmar or something to make them hatch faster. But yeah egg hatching would be a great way for people to get their daily steps in, I certainly would like that.
